That early-access window has passed. The edition’s announced US launch price was $99.99, and it is digital-only. It includes the base game, Triple H ’98 and Stephanie McMahon ’00 content, the Joe Hendry Pack, Ringside Pass Premium Season 1, and 32,500 VC.
Release date and early access
King of Kings Edition released March 6, 2026. WWE 2K26 Standard Edition followed on March 13, 2026. The premium King of Kings, Attitude Era, and Monday Night War editions all launched on the earlier date, according to 2K Support’s edition FAQ and 2K’s announcement.

Preorders of those three premium editions qualified for up to seven days of early access beginning March 6. This was a launch-period benefit, not an option available to buyers now.

2K announced a US launch price of $99.99 for King of Kings Edition. On October 4, 2026, the US PlayStation Store listing showed $99.99, while the US Xbox listing showed $99.99+. Store prices can change, and these figures are US listings, not a worldwide price guarantee. Check your platform’s store for the price and terms shown at checkout.

What King of Kings Edition includes
- WWE 2K26 base game.
- Joe Hendry Pack.
- King of Kings Pack: playable Triple H ’98 and Stephanie McMahon ’00, plus a Triple H Signature Taunt emote for The Island.
- Ringside Pass Premium Season 1. The pass includes free and premium reward tracks. WWE 2K Support says, “The Ringside Pass never expires.” Players earn Ringside Experience Points through matches and challenges, and only one pass can be active at a time; buying the edition does not immediately unlock every reward.
- 32,500 VC (virtual currency).
2K notes that the game has optional in-game purchases, including paid random items. Some bonus features may require an internet connection, account registration, a download, or online play. Online console play may also require a separate paid platform subscription.
Can you buy a physical King of Kings Edition?
No. King of Kings Edition is digital-only. WWE 2K26 Standard Edition is available in physical and digital formats, but a physical Standard Edition copy is not the King of Kings Edition and does not include the King of Kings Pack or its bundled premium content.

The platforms listed by 2K Support are Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The FAQ describes all versions as Gen 9 and says they include The Island; Steam and all three premium editions are digital-only.
How King of Kings compares with the other editions
The following are announced US launch prices, not guaranteed current store prices. The premium editions are digital-only; Standard is offered digitally or physically.

Which edition suits you depends on the content you want, the number of Premium Pass seasons bundled, virtual currency and boosts, format and platform, and the price currently shown in your region. There is no universal best-value choice established by these differences alone.

At launch, eligible preorders of any digital edition on Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox also included WWE 2K25 Standard Edition digitally, subject to 2K’s stated conditions. That was a time-limited promotion and should not be assumed to apply to current purchases. A separate VC promotion was limited to early preorders of Attitude Era or Monday Night War on PlayStation or Xbox before February 23, 2026; it did not apply to King of Kings Edition.
