Xbox announced nine games coming to Game Pass between October 8 and October 16, 2026. The lineup ranges from road-trip adventure Forever Ago to Battlefield 6 and the PC-only city-builder Beyond These Stars. Xbox marked seven as day-one releases; its announcement did not use that label for Neon Abyss 2 or Battlefield 6.

What kind of games are coming?
October 8: time loops, road trips and roguelike action
- Echo Weaver is a knowledge-based metroidvania built around time loops and anomalies that alter time.
- Forever Ago is a single-player road-trip adventure following Alfred as he travels north after a personal tragedy.
- Neon Abyss 2 is a roguelike action platformer set in a pixel-art cyberpunk world.
October 13: warfare, dungeon survival and a soulslike
- Battlefield 6 focuses on large-scale warfare, close-quarters combat and tactical destruction. Xbox says Game Pass Ultimate includes EA Play, and Ultimate subscribers can receive a 10% discount on eligible EA digital purchases; that benefit is specific to Ultimate, not the other plans listed for this game.
- Deep Dish Dungeon combines survival exploration, dungeon puzzles and crafting, with solo and online co-op play.
- Valor Mortis is a first-person action soulslike about a former soldier in Napoleon’s army, from the creators of Ghostrunner.
October 15–16: co-op combat, Bluey and a space-whale city
- Bluey’s Happy Snaps is a photo-powered adventure in Bluey’s world, playable solo or with two players.
- Chained Beasts is a co-op gladiator roguelike for one to four players.
- Beyond These Stars is a PC city-builder about developing a settlement on the back of a space whale and managing supply chains.
These are descriptions from Xbox’s announcement, not independent assessments of the games.

What to know about plans and the announcement
Plan eligibility is not uniform across the nine entries. Neon Abyss 2 is the only one whose listed plans include Game Pass Premium as well as Ultimate and PC Game Pass. The other eight list Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Check the current Game Pass catalog for availability in your region and on your device.
The October 7 post also lists Shape of Dreams, Minecraft Dungeons II and Gears of War: E-Day under “Available Now.” They are separate from the nine titles in its “Coming Soon” section. Xbox’s October 2 weekly roundup covers games coming to Xbox platforms and Game Pass during October 5–9; it is a different, broader release roundup, not this nine-game announcement.
