Xbox Game Pass Wave 2 for May 2024 added 12 titles between May 14 and June 4, 2024, and listed six games to leave the service on May 31, 2024. Those dates come from Xbox Wire’s May 14, 2024 announcement by Megan Spurr, Senior Community Lead. The list is a historical record of that announcement, not a description of the current Game Pass library, so treat it as a snapshot of May 2024 rather than a guide to what you can play today.
New Game Pass titles announced for May 14 to June 4, 2024
The announcement scheduled one or more releases on each date below. The platform labels are the ones Xbox listed, so a title marked Cloud only was described as available through Xbox Cloud Gaming at the time.

How the announcement described access
Three distinctions in the post matter when you read the list, and they are easy to blur together.
Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
- Day-one releases. Hellblade II, Galacticare, Hauntii, and Rolling Hills were described as launching on Game Pass the day they came out. Xbox’s May 14 post includes a launch-period line from Megan Spurr: “Most importantly though, grab your headphones – Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II launches next week.” That sentence is promotional copy written for the launch window.
- EA Play titles. EA Sports NHL 24 and Immortals of Aveum were tied to EA Play rather than presented as ordinary Game Pass additions. The announcement does not spell out how EA Play access interacts with each Game Pass tier, so do not read the entries as equivalent to the rest of the list.
- Returning titles. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons was described as returning to the library, which is different from a first-time addition.

Checking what is in Game Pass now
A May 2024 announcement cannot tell you what is in the catalog in 2026. Titles listed for Game Pass in 2024 may have since left the service, changed tiers, or been replaced, and the departure list above does not mean the other games stayed. Before you subscribe or plan around a specific title, check these points:

- Search for the game in the Game Pass section of the Xbox app or the Microsoft Store on your console or PC, and confirm the membership label it shows.
- Check the platform list for your device, because a title may be available on Cloud but not on your console, or on PC but not on Xbox Series X|S.
- For EA Play titles, confirm the EA Play entitlement separately rather than assuming it follows from a Game Pass tier.
- Ignore the discount figures in this article; any current offer is shown only in the store at the time you buy.
The May 2024 post also does not establish affiliate-program terms, current prices, or current membership benefits, so none of those are covered here.
