Four games appear in an October 2026 Xbox delisting report, but the evidence is not equally firm: Fortnite Rocket Racing was reported removed on October 1, and NBA 2K25 is scheduled to leave the Xbox Store on October 30. Two Leisure Suit Larry games have a reported October 23 Steam delisting, but that announcement did not confirm an Xbox removal. For NBA 2K25, the purchase cutoff is separate from the later shutdown of online features: existing owners can still redownload and play offline modes, according to 2K.

That makes NBA 2K25 the clearest confirmed upcoming Xbox Store cutoff among the four reported titles. The two Larry games should not be described as definitely leaving Xbox on October 23: the date comes from a platform-specific Steam announcement, and their Xbox availability may continue.

When does NBA 2K25 leave the Xbox Store?
2K says NBA 2K25 will no longer be available for purchase starting October 30, 2026. The notice calls the game discontinued as of December 31, 2026. Those dates describe different milestones: October 30 is the reported end of new purchases; the end of 2026 precedes the online-service shutdown, which starts January 1, 2027. 2K Support and the Xbox Store listing provide the Xbox-specific confirmation.
The affected product is the NBA 2K25 Xbox One game; 2K’s launch announcement lists Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S editions. 2K’s launch announcement If you are considering buying a copy before the cutoff, bear in mind that purchasing the game will not preserve modes that depend on 2K’s servers.

Can you play NBA 2K25 after its servers shut down?
Yes, but only offline modes are covered by 2K’s assurance. NBA 2K Support states: “If you already own the game, you will still be able to redownload and play offline modes.” The same notice says multiplayer, Online Leagues, and community sharing depend on servers and will no longer work after the shutdown. 2K Support
Starting January 1, 2027, 2K says multiplayer and online modes will be unavailable. MyCAREER and MyTEAM will no longer be available, and players will no longer be able to earn VC. In practical terms, buying the game before October 30 does not keep these online-dependent features accessible once service ends.

What should current and prospective owners do?
- If you already own it digitally: 2K says you can redownload it and play offline modes. Keep in mind that online-dependent features have a separate end date.
- If you want to buy it digitally: The reported Xbox Store purchase cutoff is October 30, 2026. Do not treat purchase as a way to retain online modes after January 1, 2027.
- If you are considering a physical copy: Retail availability and stock were not verified. A disc may be another way to seek the game, but it does not restore server-dependent play.
- If you are waiting on either Larry game: Check the Xbox Store listing rather than relying on October 23 alone; that date is tied to a Steam announcement, not a confirmed Xbox notice.
Are the two Leisure Suit Larry games definitely leaving Xbox?
No Xbox removal date is confirmed in the cited reporting. The October 23 date was attributed to a Steam delisting announcement, which did not name Xbox. The evidence supports saying that the games are reported to leave Steam on that date; it does not establish that Xbox owners will lose the purchase option then.
