Check Microsoft order history, verify the order status, then check the Xbox library on the device you want to use. A bank charge by itself does not confirm which account owns the game.
Check whether the purchase is recorded
- Go to account.microsoft.com/billing and sign in with the Microsoft account used to buy the game. Microsoft says to check that you’re using the correct account; a Microsoft account is also required to sign in to Xbox. See Microsoft’s explanation of Microsoft accounts.
- Open Payment & billing > Order history. Find the game by selecting the relevant date range. Microsoft’s order-history page covers app, game, and subscription purchases: View your Microsoft Store order history.
- Read the order status. Microsoft describes Completed and Redeemed as charges that have posted to the payment option. In progress means the charge has not yet posted. That status describes payment processing; it does not guarantee when a game will appear in your library.
If the order is not listed
Confirm the account and date range
Make sure you signed in with the Microsoft account used for the purchase, then review the date range in Order history. If you use more than one Microsoft account, check each account you may have used to buy the game rather than relying on the account currently signed in on the console.

Allow a short wait for a recent purchase
Microsoft notes that recent purchases may take a few minutes to appear in order history. If you bought the game moments ago, wait briefly and check again. If it remains absent, verify the purchase account and order-history date range before contacting support.

If the order is completed but the game is missing
A completed order confirms that the charge posted according to Microsoft’s status description; it does not by itself establish that the game is already visible or installed on every Xbox device. Check the game library on the platform where you want to play, while signed in with the purchasing account. Console and PC menu labels can vary, and current platform-specific installation steps are not established by the Microsoft documentation cited here, so avoid relying on an assumed menu path.

If you still cannot find the game after confirming the account and completed order, contact Xbox Support and provide the order details. Keep the distinction clear: the order record and the library/install issue are related, but one does not automatically resolve the other.
