Yes. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. And yes, horse armor remains: the original Horse Armor Pack is listed among the additional DLC, while Deluxe content adds separate Akatosh and Mehrunes Dagon horse armor sets.
Where you can play Oblivion Remastered
The remaster launched on April 22, 2025, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Bethesda’s current materials also list Nintendo Switch 2, where the game became available on August 11, 2026.
| Platform | Availability | Access notes |
|---|---|---|
| Xbox Series X|S | Available; launched April 22, 2025 | Xbox and Bethesda have referenced Game Pass. Xbox says an Xbox platform purchase supports Xbox Play Anywhere cross-entitlements and cross-saves across Xbox consoles, Windows PC, and cloud; do not assume the same for purchases from other storefronts. |
| PlayStation 5 | Available; launched April 22, 2025 | Listed by Bethesda and included in the original launch announcement. |
| PC | Available; launched April 22, 2025 | Available through Steam and the Xbox App for Windows PC at launch. Xbox’s Play Anywhere terms apply to qualifying Xbox platform purchases, not automatically to every PC storefront. |
| Nintendo Switch 2 | Available since August 11, 2026 | Bethesda announced the release on June 30, 2026, and its product page lists the game as available. |

Yes, the original Horse Armor Pack is still there
The legacy Horse Armor Pack appears in the remaster’s list of additional DLC. The official Xbox listing and Bethesda’s launch announcement also name other legacy DLC, including Fighter’s Stronghold, Spell Tomes, Vile Lair, Mehrune’s Razor, The Thieves Den, Wizard’s Tower, and The Orrery. The presence of the Horse Armor Pack means the infamous original add-on is represented in the remaster’s additional content.

Deluxe horse armor is separate content
Deluxe content adds new Akatosh and Mehrunes Dagon horse armor sets, alongside related quests, weapons, and armor. Those sets are distinct from the original Horse Armor Pack in the legacy DLC list. If you want the new sets, check the edition or upgrade contents for your platform before buying; available descriptions do not establish that every platform bundles Deluxe content in the same way.
