GamesRadar reported on Oct. 9, 2026, that Best Buy’s official advertisement announced late-night openings at select U.S. stores on Nov. 5 for the Ocarina of Time release. The advertisement also said limited quantities of the Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 console and Pro Controller would be available. Nintendo Life also reported that the U.S. Nintendo Store page said “check back soon” at the time of its Sept. 12 report. That wording did not confirm a date, and it should not be treated as a current stock update.
How does the Nov. 5 event differ from the original release?
Oct. 29, 2026, is the listed regional launch date for these anniversary products, not a later restock date.
