Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →The headline May 2025 code for Zenless Zone Zero was ZZZANNIVERSARY, released with the Version 2.0 Special Program livestream. Its published deadline was May 25, 2025 at 23:59 UTC+8, which is 15:59 UTC on the same day. That deadline has passed, so treat it as a historical code. None of the May 2025 codes listed below should be entered as if they were current offers.
Status of the May 2025 codes
Codes from a single promotional window often sit in different states at once: one can expire on a fixed date while another has no published end date at all. The table separates each code by its source and what that source actually establishes.
| Code | Where it was listed | Reward listed | Status as documented |
|---|---|---|---|
| ZZZANNIVERSARY | HoYoLAB guide by community contributor Suofeiya, posted May 23, 2025 (HoYoLAB article 38936699); corroborated by a second HoYoLAB post from May 23, 2025 (HoYoLAB article 38941246) | 300 Polychromes, 30,000 Dennies, 2 Senior Investigator Logs, 3 W-Engine Energy Modules | Expired. Validity ended May 25, 2025 at 23:59 UTC+8. |
| ZENLESSGIFT | May 7, 2025 community code list by SBG Gameplay (HoYoLAB article 38650722) | Not stated in that list | Historical entry. The May 7 post documents it as listed at that time; it does not establish whether it remains redeemable. |
| ZZZ17TIMOTHYRANDY, ZZZ17XSZ5Y11M, ZZZ17MIFUYU | Same May 7, 2025 community code list | Not stated in that list | Historical entries. The post describes these three as alternatives that share redemption status with each other (see the troubleshooting notes below). |
| ZZZ2NDSEASON | Community-maintained Zenless Zone Zero Wiki archive, “Redemption Code/History/2025” (wiki archive) | 50 Polychromes | Discovered May 26, 2025 according to the archive. The archive lists its expiration as unknown, so it should not be presented as currently redeemable. |
The only May 2025 code with an explicit, sourced expiration is ZZZANNIVERSARY. For every other code here, the sources describe what was circulating at a given date. They do not confirm present-day validity, and the reward figures come from community guides rather than a publisher announcement.
How to redeem a code
HoYoverse’s Help Center states that the redemption function unlocks only after you complete the Prologue mission “Business x Strangeness x Justness.” If a code is rejected with no other explanation, check that this mission is finished before anything else. Once it is, you have two documented routes.
#1 Best Overall
- Amidst this overwhelming catastrophe, New Eridu, the last metropolis that survived the apocalypse, has risen against the odds by harnessing the technology and resources necessary to fight the Hollow disaster, gradually evolving into human civilization's last beacon of hope.
- In New Eridu, you step into the shoes of a Proxy, a professional specialized in navigating the dangerous Hollows, guiding those who, for various reasons, need to venture inside. You will embark on an adventure with unique characters to explore Hollows, battle formidable enemies, complete commissions, and learn about the mysteries behind the city.
- Collector’s Edition Disk Bundle contents: Physical game disc & cover x1, NFC-enabled acrylic modular standee stage (acrylic standee – Anby Edition x1 included), Proxy acrylic avatar card x1, character photo card set x1, collector’s character badge x1, collector’s postcard (PS5/Xbox exclusive) x1, and in-game item redemption code (with bonus exclusive items) x1.
- Languages: In-game voice: Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean. In-game text: Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), English, French (France), German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Mexico), Thai, and Vietnamese.
Route 1: In-game redemption
- Launch Zenless Zone Zero on an account that has completed the Prologue mission named above.
- Open the Menu.
- Select More.
- Select Redemption Code.
- Enter the code exactly as written, then confirm.
Route 2: Official redemption page
- Open the official page at zenless.hoyoverse.com/redemption.
- Log in with the account you play on.
- Enter the code and follow the on-page instructions.
The official Help Center article, last updated October 6, 2025, describes both routes (HoYoverse Help Center: How do I redeem a gift or redemption code?). The sources reviewed do not show different rewards between the two routes, so pick whichever is easier for you; the in-game menu avoids a login step, while the website is useful if you are not currently in the game.
Troubleshooting a code that will not redeem
- The code is rejected as invalid or expired. For ZZZANNIVERSARY, this is expected after May 25, 2025 at 23:59 UTC+8. For the other May codes, the sources do not establish an end date, so an error is the only current signal available.
- The code shows as already used. The May 7, 2025 HoYoLAB code list notes that the ZZZ-prefixed alternatives share redemption status, so redeeming one can make the others appear used. Do not assume a “used” message means the code was never valid.
- Redemption is not available at all. Confirm that the Prologue mission “Business x Strangeness x Justness” is complete on the account you are logged into.
- A code from a roundup does not work. Community lists are snapshots. Check the official channels for any newer promotional codes rather than relying on an older roundup.
Source quality
Each source has a different level of authority, and the article’s claims should be read with that in mind.
