The Version 1.6 Deadly Assault lineup has three phases, and across them there are seven distinct enemies: Unknown Corruption Complex, Corrupted Overlord – Pompey, Autonomous Assault Unit – Typhon Destroyer, Notorious – Marionette, Notorious – Pompey, Dead End Butcher, and Sacrifice – Bringer. The names came first from a pre-release leak, and the official Version 1.6 update notes later confirmed the phase-by-phase assignments below.
Phase-by-phase enemy lineup
Each Deadly Assault phase in Version 1.6 features three named enemies. The table below uses the Version 1.6 update notes as the reference for which enemy appears in which phase.
| Phase | Enemy 1 | Enemy 2 | Enemy 3 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Phase I | Unknown Corruption Complex | Corrupted Overlord – Pompey | Autonomous Assault Unit – Typhon Destroyer |
| Phase II | Notorious – Marionette | Autonomous Assault Unit – Typhon Destroyer | Notorious – Pompey |
| Phase III | Dead End Butcher | Sacrifice – Bringer | Unknown Corruption Complex |
How the leak compared with the official update notes
Leak coverage reported on February 8, 2025 by Icy Veins named seven upcoming bosses: Corruption Complex, Corrupted Overlord Pompey, Autonomous Assault Unit Typhon Destroyer, Notorious Marionette, Notorious Pompey, Dead End Butcher, and Sacrifice Bringer. That article stated that the layout came from beta information and could change.
The official Version 1.6 update notes match that list exactly. Nothing from the leak was dropped, and no new enemy was added. The only difference is that the update notes place each enemy into a specific phase, which the leak did not show.

Enemies that appear in more than one phase
- Autonomous Assault Unit – Typhon Destroyer appears in Phase I and Phase II.
- Unknown Corruption Complex appears in Phase I and Phase III.
- Pompey appears twice under two different names: Corrupted Overlord – Pompey in Phase I and Notorious – Pompey in Phase II. These are separate listed entries, so treat them as two different enemy designations rather than one repeated boss.
Because of these repeats, you will face fewer distinct designs than the number of slots in the table. Preparing for Typhon Destroyer and Unknown Corruption Complex covers two of the three phases’ repeated threats.
Phase buffs to prepare for
The Version 1.6 update notes also list a Critical Node buff for each phase. These buffs change how a squad should prepare, so they are useful alongside the enemy list.
