The ZOTAC ZBOX nano AD10 Plus is a legacy palm-sized PC built around AMD’s E-350 dual-core APU and Radeon HD 6310 graphics. Its 2GB of memory, 320GB hard drive and useful-for-its-era mix of HDMI, DisplayPort and USB 3.0 make it a compact media or light office machine by the standards of its time—not a mini-PC whose present-day performance or OS compatibility can be assumed. ZOTAC’s documented model name is ZBOX nano AD10 Plus, model ZBOXNANO-AD10-PLUS; the “U” in the assigned title is not confirmed as part of that identifier.
What is the ZBOX nano AD10 Plus?
This is a small-form-factor computer from ZOTAC’s AD10 family, based on AMD’s E-350 dual-core APU with integrated Radeon HD 6310 graphics. The Plus configuration specified by ZOTAC came with 2GB of DDR3-1066 memory and a 320GB hard drive. These are historical specifications, not a description of a currently supported or newly sold PC.

ZOTAC’s product documentation calls it the ZBOX nano AD10 Plus, or ZBOXNANO-AD10-PLUS. It does not establish “U” as part of the manufacturer’s model identifier. ZOTAC’s AD10 Plus specifications

ZOTAC lists a 2.5-inch drive bay and one 204-pin DDR3-1066 SO-DIMM slot. For display and peripherals, the published specification includes HDMI 1.3a, DisplayPort, gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n/g/b Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, a 6-in-1 card reader, eSATA, two USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports. These are period standards and should not be confused with current-generation connectivity.

ASK Corporation’s regional listing describes a bundled package with 2GB DDR3-1066 SO-DIMM memory, a 320GB 2.5-inch SATA drive, remote control, USB infrared receiver, Wi-Fi antenna, VESA mount and AC adapter. ASK also describes a barebones configuration that requires the buyer to provide an operating system. Packages and included parts may vary by market and SKU; its listing is not proof that every AD10 Plus included the same accessories. ASK Corporation’s regional product listing
Can you upgrade the AD10 Plus memory or hard drive?
Yes, the documented design provides a replaceable 2.5-inch drive and a 204-pin DDR3-1066 SO-DIMM slot; ZOTAC’s Plus configuration already includes 2GB of memory. A 2.5-inch SATA SSD is a possible replacement for the original hard drive, but the specifications reviewed do not state the drive bay’s thickness or maximum supported capacity. Check the physical bay and interface before buying. The listed SO-DIMM slot indicates a memory replacement or upgrade path, but the documentation here does not establish supported module capacities or compatibility with a particular module.

ZOTAC’s historical manual names Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. Its archived support page also lists driver packages for Windows 7, Windows 8 and Linux, and records BIOS revisions through version 2K130509. Those records show what ZOTAC documented or posted historically; they do not establish current manufacturer support or successful installation and operation of a present-day operating system.

ZOTAC’s archived awards page reproduces a PC Praxis listing dated 16 April 2012 that described the small computer as suitable for video playback or office use and noted its VESA mounting. It also reproduces a PC Go listing dated 13 December 2011 that described Full HD video playback and reported 20 watts of power consumption. These are claims from the named publications as presented on ZOTAC’s awards page, not fresh tests or a controlled comparison; the 20-watt figure should not be generalized to every workload. Is the AD10 Plus still usable?
Its documented hardware and period reviews support a narrow conclusion: it was designed as a compact media-player or light office PC for its era, with mounting options and a selection of contemporary ports. They do not show how well a particular unit performs today. Current OS installation results, noise, temperatures, workload performance, power use outside the cited period claim, used-market condition and replacement-part compatibility have not been established here. Those questions require checking the individual machine and, where relevant, testing it with the intended software and peripherals.
