スクウェア・エニックスとDisney & Pixar Gamesは、D23で『KINGDOM HEARTS IV』を2027年後半に発売予定と発表しました。発表されたのは発売時期であり、具体的な発売日ではありません。したがって、現時点では「2027年後半予定」とするのが正確です。スクウェア・エニックスの2026年8月16日付発表で確認できます。
キングダム ハーツ 4は2025年に発売する？
2025年発売という情報は、公式発表によって裏付けられていません。スクウェア・エニックスの公式コミュニティ投稿は2025年5月15日に、開発に取り組んでいると伝えましたが、発売年は示していません。その後の公式発表で明らかになった時期は2027年後半です。2025年5月15日の公式投稿と、後の発売時期発表を区別して確認してください。

2026年8月の発表では、ソラがいるQuadratumや、ディズニーおよびピクサー作品に着想を得た世界が紹介されました。トレーラー告知では、ピクサー映画『リメンバー・ミー（Coco）』に着想を得た世界にも言及しています。また、ミッキー、ドナルド、グーフィーがソラの行方を探す姿が公開映像で示されました。詳細はスクウェア・エニックスの発表とD23の紹介記事で確認できます。
