These 10 Minecraft village seeds offer unusual starts, including cherry groves, ice spikes, desert structures, woodland mansions and multiple villages on one island. However, a seed is not automatically valid for every edition or current release: Java and Bedrock can place villages differently, and several entries below were last reported for versions 1.19–1.21 rather than current Java 26.2 or Bedrock 1.26.40. Treat the version and edition beside each seed as essential information, not decoration.

1. Pillager outpost, mansion, portal and village
Seed: 767300786513247025
Reported coordinates: 236, 111, 126
Edition/version: Not specified by the source
This is the most ambitious structure-focused entry. The reported area combines a village with a pillager outpost, ruined portal and woodland mansion, alongside a pale garden and snowy biome. It is a strong choice if you want your first base to sit near several major points of interest, but the outpost and mansion also make the opening more dangerous than a normal village start.

2. Cherry-blossom village
Seed: 3477968804511828743
Reported coordinates: -500, 164, -430
Reported version: 1.20
This seed pairs a village with a cherry grove and plateau, making it suited to a scenic survival base. The village is not reported as being directly at spawn: the listed location is hundreds of blocks away. Use the coordinates as a destination only after confirming that you generated the world in the same edition and version used by the listing.
3. Abandoned village in a desert sinkhole
Seed: -2404910741640601849
Reported coordinates: Near the spawn area in a desert sinkhole
Reported version: 1.20
The unusual terrain is the attraction here: an abandoned village is reported inside a desert sinkhole. It provides a distinctive build site and a more atmospheric opening than a conventional flat desert village. Because the source ties the result to 1.20, do not assume the sinkhole or village will appear unchanged in a later release.
4. Village surrounded by ice spikes
Seed: 105849523
Reported version: 1.20
This seed is built around a dramatic frozen landscape. The reported tundra village is surrounded by ice spikes, with a pillager outpost nearby. It is a good pick for players who want a visually striking base and immediate combat pressure, but it may be less forgiving for a first survival world because food, shelter and safe travel can be harder to establish in cold terrain.
5. Icy mountain village on Bedrock
Seed: 7226627000711902118
Edition/version: Bedrock 1.21
The reported village stretches across icy mountain outcroppings, giving the settlement vertical scenery and a natural reason to build bridges, terraces and lookout towers. This entry is specifically reported for Bedrock 1.21. It should not be presented as a Java seed or as confirmed for a newer Bedrock build without separate testing.
6. Cherry-blossom valley with five blacksmiths
Seed: -4197599622191908127
Edition/version: Bedrock 1.20
This Bedrock seed reportedly places an expansive village in a cherry-blossom valley, with five blacksmiths and a pillager outpost nearby. The combination makes it appealing for players who want both a large settlement and a dramatic landscape. The outpost can threaten the village, so secure the area before treating it as a permanent home.
7. Village beside a woodland mansion
Seed: 5705783928676095273
Edition/version: 1.20
The reported setting is a spruce-forest village on an island, with a woodland mansion nearby and an ocean monument offshore. It offers a long-term exploration route through several major structures without relying on a purely flat village landscape. The source does not establish current Java and Bedrock parity, so select the matching edition and verify the structures in-game.

Seed: -6709148406763899126
Edition/version: Bedrock 1.19
This is the oldest-version-specific entry in the list. It reportedly places a village near a woodland mansion in a snowy-taiga and dark-forest environment. The contrast between the settlement, snow and mansion makes it a good adventure-world concept, but its Bedrock 1.19 provenance means it has a particularly high risk of changing in a current release.
9. Survival island with multiple villages
Seed: 2218715947278290213
Edition/version: Not specified
The source reports a spawn near a village with a blacksmith, four villages across the island and mushroom islands nearby. That combination makes this one appealing for a self-contained survival challenge: establish farms and trading on the main island, then explore the surrounding ocean for additional resources and unusual biomes. Since neither edition nor version is specified, verify it before investing in a serious world.

10. Desert village, temple, outpost and shipwreck
Seed: 3546842701776989958
Edition/version: Not specified
This seed reportedly combines a desert village and temple with a pillager outpost and shipwreck. It offers several early objectives, but the source specifically warns that pillagers make the start dangerous. Prioritize shelter, food and a safe route around the outpost rather than assuming the village is immediately secure.

1. Match the edition and version
Java Edition and Bedrock Edition do not use the same structure placement for every seed. Even within one edition, updates can move villages, alter terrain or change the relationship between a village and nearby structures. Current third-party tools label their supported lines as Java 26.2 and Bedrock 1.26.40, but those labels are tool classifications rather than an official Mojang release note. Choose the exact build in a seed tool or test the seed in the exact game version you intend to play. The Chunk Seeds database explains the edition- and version-specific nature of seed results.
2. Enter the seed while creating a new world
On Java, use Singleplayer → Create New World → More World Options, then enter the number in the seed field. The label can vary between Java releases, so check the target build’s world-creation screen if the option is named differently.
On Bedrock, use Play → Create New World → Create New World, then open Advanced → Seed. This broader creation path is documented by Microsoft’s Bedrock documentation; the seed-field location is also documented by current Bedrock seed tools.
Seeds apply to a new world. Turning a behavior pack on or off later will not regenerate villages in chunks that already exist. Bedrock village-generation overrides affect world creation or newly generated chunks, not structures that have already been generated.

3. Check the result before committing to the world
- Create the world using the matching edition and version.
- Confirm the spawn biome and landscape.
- Travel to the listed X, Y, Z coordinates if coordinates are provided. The middle number is elevation;
236, 111, 126is not the same as a two-value X/Z marker. - Inspect the surrounding area for the claimed village and other structures.
- Only then begin a long-term survival build or delete cheats from the final world.
A seed finder can help, but its markers are not equally precise on both editions. One current tool states that Java markers represent the exact center while Bedrock markers are area estimates. Use a marker as a search area on Bedrock rather than assuming it identifies a single exact block. See the Minecraft village finder for version selection and edition-specific results.

On Bedrock, enable cheats if necessary, open chat and run:
/locate structure village
This searches for the nearest village in the current dimension and reports an error if no matching structure exists there. To teleport to known coordinates, use:
/tp @p 100 50 100
Replace the three numbers with the listing’s X, Y and Z values. To move the world’s general spawn point, use:
/setworldspawn [spawnPoint: x y z]
A bed still controls an individual player’s personal respawn point. The command syntax is documented in Microsoft’s Bedrock command reference.
On Java, /seed displays the current world’s seed even in a single-player world with cheats disabled. Bedrock exposes the seed through the world-options screen, according to the Minecraft Wiki seed reference.
Why a village seed may not work
- Wrong edition: The same number can produce different terrain and structure locations on Java and Bedrock.
- Wrong version: A listing verified on 1.19, 1.20 or 1.21 is not proof that it works on Java 26.2 or Bedrock 1.26.40.
- Confusing “near spawn” with “at spawn”: A coordinate such as
-500, 164, -430describes a destination, not necessarily the starting point. - Using a finder with the wrong settings: Select both the correct edition and the exact game version before searching.
- Expecting old chunks to change: Behavior packs and world settings do not retroactively rebuild generated villages.
- Reading Bedrock markers as exact centers: Search the surrounding area when the tool identifies an estimate rather than a precise center.
If a listed village is missing, first verify the seed’s minus sign, edition, version and world-generation settings. Then create a completely new world and check the coordinates again. Do not assume that a current-dated seed article has tested every entry on the newest build; the reported list itself includes seeds last tied to 1.19, 1.20 and 1.21.
