Give your Universe its own promotion identity
Create a custom show and arena, then build a weekly series around a distinct theme: a gritty underground brand, a legends showcase or a regional circuit. The PS5 manual says custom shows can be used in Universe and describes creation tools for arenas, shows and entrances. Those tools give your series a visual identity; they do not guarantee special story logic for created content. 2K’s PS5 manual

Book a faction war across the calendar
Set up a roster, decide which champions represent each side, and make weekly cards move the conflict forward. A rivalry can spill into later shows, while a Premium Live Event can serve as the focal point for a major match. This is a player-created format built from Universe’s roster, feud, champion, weekly-show and PLE controls—not a named automatic faction-war system. 2K’s feature announcement
Use run-ins and brawls as feud turning points
Instead of making every rivalry beat another ordinary match, use a run-in or brawl to create a disruption or raise the stakes. 2K lists both among Universe’s expanded Rivalry actions. The announcement does not specify every eligible Superstar or how to trigger each action, so treat them as story tools to explore in your save rather than a guaranteed setup recipe. 2K’s feature announcement

Make a Money in the Bank cash-in a surprise
A cash-in can turn a title story on its head: a champion survives a hard-fought match, only for the briefcase holder to make a move. Money in the Bank cash-ins are among the Rivalry actions 2K identifies for Universe. Build a double-championship chase
Give one champion a reason to pursue another belt, then make the potential title-versus-title match the destination of the feud. WWE 2K24 supports Double Title Matches, making the match type a concrete hook for a story about dominance, divided loyalties or an ambitious challenger. Put a career on the line with Loser Leaves Town
Use the Loser Leaves Town stipulation as a high-stakes blowoff for a feud: the loser must leave the show, brand or promotion in your story. 2K lists the stipulation as a supported feature. That does not establish that the game automatically removes the losing Superstar from a roster, so handle any departure as part of your own booking unless the in-game behavior confirms otherwise. 2K’s feature announcement
Make the special guest referee part of the drama
Special Guest Referee support can anchor an authority angle or a story about a referee with divided loyalties. Choose the match as the moment when tension between the official and the wrestlers comes to a head. Create a championship and build a division around it
Design a custom championship, choose who holds it and use feuds to give challengers a reason to pursue it. The manual documents custom championships, while Universe supports control over champions and feuds. Make a custom match card around a stipulation
Build a special show around a particular kind of contest, using a custom show and custom matches where the available options suit your idea. The manual describes Custom Matches and confirms that custom shows can be used in Universe. Use cutscenes to punctuate a rivalry
Cutscenes can add variety to the rhythm of a feud, especially when you want a rivalry moment to feel different from a match result. 2K confirms new cutscenes for Universe but does not provide a complete trigger list.
