This is a historical, editorial shortlist for League of Legends Patch 25.11—not a guide to the current live patch or a statistically verified ranking. Riot scheduled Patch 25.11 for May 29, 2025. Champion strength changes with later balance updates, so use this list to understand the choices in that patch’s context, not to predict today’s tier list.
How to read this Patch 25.11 list
“Best” here means a varied set of marksmen worth considering, not a measured one-through-twelve order. METAsrc says its Patch 25.11 ADC tier list uses win rate, ban rate, pick rate, and KDA, but the available ranking information does not establish an auditable snapshot with a region, queue, rank bracket, collection dates, or exact ordered results. The names below are therefore an editorial shortlist, not a claim that these were the twelve statistically strongest champions.

The comparison axes are practical selection questions: range and lane pressure, safety and mobility, teamfight damage pattern, utility for teammates, execution demands, and fit with a team composition. They are not measurements reported by the tier-list methodology.
The 12 marksmen on the shortlist
The champions are listed alphabetically to avoid implying a verified strength order. The available patch-specific evidence supports a concrete note about Ashe; it does not establish comparative performance, builds, matchups, or detailed strengths and weaknesses for the other champions.

What Patch 25.11 changed for Ashe
Riot’s Patch 25.11 notes say Ashe’s Q could build stacks while attacking structures. Riot explained that allowing this was intended to remove unintuitive optimizations and make her feel better when sieging towers. The change is a patch-specific quality-of-life adjustment; by itself, it does not establish Ashe’s overall ranking or comparative strength.
Riot Sakaar published the notes on May 27, 2025, with the patch scheduled to go live May 29. Read the official Patch 25.11 notes for the full patch context.

How to choose among them
Without a verifiable, scoped data snapshot, a useful choice depends on what you want from a marksman and what your team needs. Use these questions to narrow the shortlist, then check the champion’s current kit and the balance patch you are playing:
- Want range or lane pressure? Compare how comfortably a champion can contest space and farm in the lane you expect to play. The evidence available for this list does not provide patch-specific range or lane-performance comparisons.
- Need safety or mobility? Consider how much room a pick has to reposition or protect itself when threatened. Do not treat this shortlist as a ranking of escape tools or survivability.
- What teamfight pattern fits you? Decide whether you prefer sustained attacks, abilities, or a more conditional damage pattern. The shortlist does not supply validated champion-by-champion teamfight assessments.
- Does your team need utility? A team may value more than raw damage, but no comparative utility ranking is established here.
- How much execution complexity do you want? Choose a champion whose mechanics and decision-making demands suit your experience; the available evidence does not rank these twelve by difficulty.
- Does the pick fit the composition? Consider the team’s overall needs rather than treating a general list as a substitute for draft context.
Why this is not a current tier list
Patch 25.11 is a dated balance snapshot. Later updates can change champion performance, and a ranking can also vary with region, queue, rank, and the dates used to collect matches. METAsrc identifies win rate, ban rate, pick rate, and KDA as inputs to its Patch 25.11 ADC ranking, but the available information does not provide the figures or scope needed to verify an exact top twelve. For a statistical ranking, those details—and a sufficiently large sample—need to be stated alongside the results.
