- Mantle one piece of cover, land, and immediately aim at the next likely angle.

Smartstreaks count objective actions as well as kills, although kills remain the primary driver. That makes objective modes an efficient training ground: you improve positioning and mode awareness while progressing toward streak rewards.
Use objectives as controlled practice
- Approach a Domination flag or Hardpoint from cover rather than sprinting directly into the zone.
- Clear one entry angle, capture or contest, then leave before the same route becomes predictable.
- After a death, check the minimap and time your re-challenge instead of repeating the identical entrance.
- Predict the next threat from teammate deaths, enemy positions and the objective timer.
A player who contributes to the objective can learn more per minute than one who hides for a perfect kill count, because every rotation reveals another timing and sightline.
How many maps are in Modern Warfare 4 Multiplayer?
Activision lists 20 launch Multiplayer maps: 12 new 6v6 maps, four Gunfight maps, three Ground War maps and the Kill Block modular training facility. How do I adapt to the Kill Block map?
Kill Block can generate more than 500 configurations. Its two End Slabs and Central Slab can combine differently between matches and rounds, changing cover, routes, sightlines and pacing. A route that was safe a few minutes ago may expose you after the next reconfiguration.
Read the map in three passes
- Find the Central Slab: use it as your initial reference point; adjacent areas feed encounters into it.
- Trace connections: identify entrances, doors, low openings and chokepoints leading to each End Slab.
- Mark power positions: note elevated cover and long sightlines, then re-check them after every configuration change.
Do not memorize a fixed “best route.” Memorize how to rebuild a route quickly from the Central Slab outward.
