It is an editorial shortlist—not a measured or universal best-to-worst result—and the article does not provide a scoring system or save outcome data.
How to choose a Road to Glory club
The ranking’s useful criteria are starting division, club stature and history. Apply them to the kind of save you want rather than treating the order as a formula:

What makes a lower-league save take longer?
England has four in-game leagues, according to GamesRadar’s FC 25 guide, which describes Bromley as a bottom-tier long-term challenge. That guide says reaching the top flight from the bottom takes at least three seasons. It reports Bromley’s transfer budget as £805,000 and board expectations as Very Low; those are figures attributed to that guide, not independently checked here. Bromley is a useful alternative if the appeal is a lengthy climb rather than a club with a prominent revival narrative.

EA lists Manager Career and Player Career as FC 25 modes. Its product page describes Live Start Points as arriving in a post-launch update and says Women’s Career uses clubs or players from the top five women’s leagues. EA’s 2024 launch release says women’s clubs appeared in Career Mode for the first time in FC 25. EA’s product page, accessed in 2026, describes the game as having “19,000+ players across 700+ teams in more than 120 stadiums and over 30 leagues”; its 2024 release instead says “19,000+ athletes across 700+ clubs and 30+ leagues,” with more than 120 real-world stadiums. These broad game-scale figures provide context, not evidence that any club on this list is objectively best.
