Earn rewards by completing challenges
Challenges can award customization items, XP, and Drops. Event Challenges are especially direct: completing one grants its specified Event Item, which you claim from the Challenges Menu. Challenge objectives and dates change, so use the in-game widget to see what is active and what each reward requires.
- Open Rocket League’s Challenges Menu.
- Review the available challenges, their requirements, and listed rewards.
- Complete an objective, then claim the reward in the menu if prompted.
For event timing and claims, see Epic’s guide to in-game Events.

Progress on the free Rocket Pass track
The Rocket Pass includes a free track with rewards, including Drops. Progress through that track and check the reward tiers shown in the current pass. Do not assume every item is free: the pass separates Free and Premium content, and some titles are specifically on the Premium track.
Epic explains the distinction in its pages on free Rocket League items and Rocket League Titles.

Open Drops earned in-game
A Drop is not a specific promised item. Epic states, “A Drop adds an Item to your inventory when opened.” Drops can come from Challenge Rewards or the Rocket Pass free track; the resulting item is revealed when you open the Drop. No universal item list or individual reward guarantee is established.
See What Are Drops in Rocket League? for Epic’s explanation.

- Redeemable on accounts in the United States and in U.S. Dollars.
- Gift card must be redeemed at EpicGames.com/redeem. This gift card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly on a console device (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, etc.)
- If you play Fortnite experiences on a console device, you need to link your Epic Games account to your console account(s) so items purchased at Fortnite.com/item-shop appear across all of your linked accounts
- Requires internet connection, valid Epic account and prior acceptance of the terms
- Redemption: Online
Get eligible Twitch Fan Rewards
Twitch rewards require an eligible campaign—not simply any Rocket League stream. Epic says official RLCS and CRL broadcasts can have Fan Rewards enabled, and selected third-party broadcasts may qualify. Each campaign sets its own watch-time requirement.
- Use the official Rocket League Competitive website’s account-linking process to connect your Epic account to Twitch.
- Choose a broadcast that is identified as having Fan Rewards enabled for the active campaign.
- Watch for the campaign’s required time and check Twitch for a reward notification.
- Log in to Rocket League; the reward is added to your inventory the next time you log in.
Find enrollment details in Epic’s Fan Rewards guide. Watch-time rules and eligible streams can differ by campaign, so check its current terms.

- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
- Redemption: Online
Check limited-time event and shop rewards
Rocket League events are time-limited. Their Event Challenges grant specific Event Items, while certain events may also offer free items through the in-game shop. Check both places while an event is live: completing a challenge and claiming a shop offer are separate routes, and a past event item may no longer be available.
Other free title opportunities
If you are looking specifically for a player title, Epic lists several possible unlock routes: Rocket Pass, Auto Tournaments, season rank rewards, limited-time events, Community Spotlight shop offers, and esports prizes. These opportunities vary, and a title on the Premium Rocket Pass track is not part of the free track. Check the current in-game offer or event details before pursuing a particular title.
Avoid fake free-item offers
Use official Epic account-linking pages, in-game menus, and Epic or Rocket League channels. Epic warns that suspicious external offers for free Epic products—including Credits—may not be legitimate; it says real offers appear through the Epic Games Store, official Epic websites, or official social channels. Do not give account credentials to a generator or a site promising free items. Epic Support also says, “Epic Games Support can’t grant items upon request.”
Read Epic’s free-items guidance before trusting an offer that asks you to leave the game or official Epic services.
