The Standard Edition followed on Friday, March 14, 2025. That early-access window is over. The official announcements give the dates but do not publish an unlock hour or time zone, so no exact time can be confirmed from them.
The early-access and release dates
- January 28, 2025: 2K’s newsroom announced WWE 2K25, its editions and its release schedule, and listed March 7 as the worldwide date for the Deadman and Bloodline editions, seven days ahead of the Standard Edition on March 14.
- March 7, 2025: Early access opened worldwide for the Deadman and Bloodline editions. A 2K newsroom announcement from that day confirmed availability on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Steam.
- March 14, 2025: The Standard Edition became available, seven days after the higher editions.
Which editions included early access
Only the two higher-priced digital editions carried early access. The official 2K Store edition comparison describes both the Deadman Edition and The Bloodline Edition as including “Up to 7-Day Early Access.” The Standard Edition did not include early access and simply arrived on March 14.

Both early-access editions shared the same start date. The difference between them lies in the content each one bundled, not in when they unlocked.
The exact start time and time zone
The 2K newsroom announcements and the 2K Store comparison give calendar dates only. None of them states an hour, a time zone, or a regional midnight cutoff for early access. Any article or search result that names a specific local time for the unlock is adding detail the official sources do not provide. If you need a time-of-day answer for a past event, the only reliable place to check is the platform storefront’s own announcement or your account’s purchase record from that period, and those were not part of the sources cited here.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version was a separate, later release. 2K’s July 1, 2025 announcement set its release date as July 23, 2025. It was not part of the March early-access window, so it should not be counted as part of that event.
Early access today
Early access was described as lasting up to seven days from March 7, 2025, which means it closed no later than the March 14 date when the Standard Edition arrived. Buying the Deadman or Bloodline edition now does not grant access to that past window. Anyone searching for early access to WWE 2K25 today is looking at a completed event; the dates above are the ones that matter for reference.
