Completing the ordinary minigames is enough for the Default ending, but the secret ending requires six Memory Plushies, a Glitchtrap Token, and access to Princess Quest IV.
The game never explicitly confirms that the playable employee is Cassie’s father, nor does it definitively identify who Vanny is. Those are interpretations rather than settled facts.
How many endings are in FNAF: Help Wanted 2?
There are three distinct documented endings in FNAF: Help Wanted 2:
- Default ending: the Mask Bot gives the Vanny mask to Cassie.
- Escape ending: the player uses the fire exit in the Pizzeria diner and reaches the credits.
- Princess Quest IV ending: the secret route involving the Memory Plushies, Glitchtrap Token, Vanny, and Glitchtrap.
Some guides list only two because they count the Default and Princess Quest sequences while omitting the easily missed fire-exit route. The three-ending count is documented by Dot Esports.

1. Default ending: the Mask Bot and Cassie
How to unlock it
Progress through and complete the main minigames. The Default ending is associated with collecting the six Faz Force Mechs earned through the chapter minigames.
What happens
The ending shows a S.T.A.F.F. Bot handing the Vanny mask to Cassie. This mirrors the mask handoff seen at the beginning of FNAF: Security Breach — Ruin.
The scene strongly invites connections between Help Wanted 2 and Ruin, but it does not explicitly identify the playable worker as Cassie’s father. That idea remains a theory. Likewise, do not treat the protagonist’s apparent connection to a S.T.A.F.F. Bot as proof that the character is literally transformed into one; the game does not make that identification explicit.

2. Escape ending: the Pizzeria fire exit
How to unlock it
- Enter the Pizzeria diner area.
- Look to the left of the stage for the fire exit.
- Interact with the fire-exit doors.
The doors lead into a black void and trigger the credits. This route does not provide an additional story explanation in the available guide coverage.
It is best treated as its own Escape ending, not as a variation of the Default ending. Because the exit is easy to overlook, it is also the reason a “two endings” summary is incomplete.
3. Secret ending: Princess Quest IV
The Princess Quest IV ending is not unlocked simply by finishing the campaign. You must complete a collectible-and-challenge chain:

- Find all six Memory Plushies.
- Obtain the Glitchtrap Token, also called the purple coin in some guides.
- Use the token to access Princess Quest IV inside the Pizzeria.
“Glitchtrap Token” and “purple coin” should be understood as alternate guide terminology unless your build displays a specific on-screen item name.
Memory Plushie locations and requirements
| Minigame | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Bonk-a-Bon Bonus | Reverse the displayed wire code. For example, if the machine shows 8431, enter 1348. |
| Log Ride | Shoot every Helpy cardboard cutout, then hit the illuminated star targets in the bonus sections. A chest containing the plushie appears afterward. |
| Sister Location | Complete every Sister Location night, then enter 1983 into the locked desk drawer in the security office. |
| FNAF 2 / Phaser Blast | Defeat every animatronic in the relevant challenge to trigger the fire and unlock the Springtrap challenge. Defeat Springtrap to continue the plushie/token progression. |
| Food Delivery | Put the four Chica-related products in the trash bin: Chica Lemon Bar, Chicachug, Chica Hot Meal, and a combined Chicachug-and-Chica-Lemon-Bar mixture made with the Blendee-O-Matic. |
| Fizzy Faz — Night Three | The available guides disagree on the exact recipe. One lists a Sodaroni can with a drumstick, watermelon slice, coffee mug, and candy; another describes a “Graveyard” drink using Sodarini, protein, acid, and caffeine. |
The exact Fizzy Faz instructions are the major point of uncertainty in the published guide material. The recipes differ in ingredients and terminology, so do not combine them into one universal solution. Check the specific minigame and night shown in your build rather than assuming that every guide describes the same recipe. The plushie requirements are summarized in Dot Esports’ ending guide, while a more detailed Princess Quest walkthrough is available from GameTruth.
Extra Phaser Blast details
One detailed route describes additional prerequisites in the first three Phaser Blast stages: hit the rocket targets. During the later music-box defense section, switch between the camera inputs, open the corresponding side vent when an animatronic appears, and shoot its balloon form with the dart gun. Finish the sequence before the music box stops to trigger the fire and reveal the Springtrap area.

What happens in the Princess Quest IV ending?
Start Princess Quest IV with the token after collecting the six Memory Plushies. The sequence eventually shifts from the surrounding game world into the Princess Quest presentation.
Near the end, the protagonist exchanges the Vanny Mask for a Bonnie plushie in a Glitchtrap-related prize sequence. An elevator then leads to a claw-machine scene in which Moon/Sun operates as the claw while Vanny waits outside. The prize is revealed to be Glitchtrap. Vanny takes it and destroys it in her hands.
This scene is important to the continuing Vanny, Glitchtrap, and Mimic mystery, but it does not settle every identity question. The ending does not explicitly confirm whether Vanny is Vanessa, a separate entity, or another identity controlled by the Mimic/Glitchtrap. Those explanations remain theories.

Steel Wool’s current news index does not identify a verified recent ending-related change in the available material, so the routes above should be read with the usual caution about platform builds and future updates: Steel Wool Studios news.
