Abelina is a single-player, story-rich adventure platformer in development for PC on Steam. Gabe Askew—an animation veteran whose credits include work associated with League of Legends, Valorant and Love, Death + Robots—is making the game solo, with Indieformer publishing. The official press material describes him as a CG-animation veteran with nine years at Hornet and later cinematics supervision at Blur Studio. Ryan Holladay provides the music and sound. The press kit identifies him as a Webby Award-winning composer, vice president of music at WaitWhat and a Senior TED Fellow. It also credits him as co-composer of Weapons (2025) and says he is scoring Zach Cregger’s upcoming Resident Evil.
When does Abelina release, and where can you play it?
The current target is Q1 2027 on PC through Steam. The Steam listing says the game is not yet available and allows players to add it to their wishlists. An older paragraph on the developer’s website mentioned a hoped-for early-2026 launch, but the later Q1 2027 date in the press kit and Steam listing supersedes it.

The current Steam listing is the best guide for publication purposes. It lists 12 GB of RAM minimum, 16 GB recommended and 4 GB of storage. The press-kit requirements also list 12 GB minimum and 4 GB of storage, but give 14 GB as the recommended memory figure, so the two official blocks do not yet agree.
