When your AION 2 inventory fills up, inspect each item’s description, restrictions, and available actions before clearing it. Check whether it may be needed for equipment, progression, appearance, crafting, or a supply request. If its future use is unclear and storage is available, store it for now; sell, dismantle, or destroy only after confirming the option fits that item in your current regional client.
A safe decision flow for every item
- Inspect the item in your client. Read its name and description, check binding or other restrictions, and note which actions the interface actually offers. Eligibility varies by item; available guides do not provide a complete official chart of what can be stored, sold, dismantled, or destroyed. iTechGuides’ AION 2 inventory guide likewise advises checking purpose and restrictions.
- Look for another use. Ask whether the item is current gear, a possible upgrade, connected to appearance or progression, useful for crafting, or marked for a supply request. These are cautious checks drawn from third-party and community guidance, not an exhaustive list of confirmed game rules.
- Store it if you are unsure. If the client allows storage, keeping an uncertain item there buys time to learn its use without committing to a potentially irreversible action.
- Check requests before dismantling. The AION 2 Classes Wiki inventory tips, last verified September 23, 2026, report that some items may be associated with supply requests. Check your current client rather than assuming every item is eligible or that the interface is unchanged.
- Confirm the return before extracting or dismantling. Consider whether the displayed materials would help you now. The available guides do not establish a guaranteed yield for any particular item.
- Sell only when the client permits it and you are ready to part with it. Check the action and any vendor or market option shown for that item; do not assume you can buy it back or recover it later.
- Destroy only as a last resort. Use this for an item you have confirmed has no useful value or recoverability, and read the confirmation prompt. The available sources do not establish that destruction can be reversed.
How to choose between keeping, selling, dismantling, and storing
Compare the choices using the item and options shown in your own client. These are decision criteria, not universal mechanics or guaranteed returns.

The official AION Online Auto-Hunt Guide, published in 2022, documents an auto-sell-junk function for AION Online. It is a different title and does not establish that AION 2 has the same feature. Use the controls in your AION 2 client as the authority for actions available there.
