The Alienware Area-51 brick kit is a miniature display model made with LEGO bricks—not a gaming PC you can switch on. Tom’s Hardware reported that it contains 318 bricks and measures 2.2 × 5.3 × 5 inches when assembled. Alienware Arena later announced two more retro-themed kits, but that announcement does not confirm current stock.
Is the Alienware LEGO PC a real computer?
No. The Area-51 Brick Kit is a construction-brick replica inspired by Alienware’s desktop design, not a functional computer. Tom’s Hardware explicitly described the model as nonfunctional in its June 7, 2025 report.
Alienware does sell real gaming desktops, including Area-51 and Aurora systems listed in Dell’s CES 2026 press kit. Those computers are separate products from the brick replica.
What’s in the Area-51 brick kit?
Tom’s Hardware reported that the kit uses 318 authentic LEGO bricks. The assembled model measures 2.2 × 5.3 × 5 inches (55 × 132 × 130 mm), making it a small display piece rather than a full-size PC case.

What are the retro Alienware kits?
In a May 26, 2026 announcement, Alienware Arena said it had two additional retro-themed brick kits made with authentic LEGO bricks. The announcement described their planned marketplace availability as “shortly” and said they would be offered in the same regions as its existing kit lineup at that time. It did not provide piece counts or assembled dimensions for either retro kit, and it does not establish whether they are currently in stock.
Can you buy the Alienware brick kit?
Tom’s Hardware reported in 2025 that the Area-51 kit was offered through Alienware Arena’s reward marketplace for 9,999 Alienware Reward Points (ARP). That was a historical redemption cost, not a verified current price or availability. The 2026 announcement likewise does not establish present stock or current regional access. Check Alienware Arena’s marketplace for current listings and eligibility; no specific Amazon listing for this Alienware kit has been verified.
