We Were Here Tomorrow has 12 jigsaw pieces. They are spread across the Common Room/Hub, Research and Development, the Prototype Room, the route back to the Hub, the room before the monorail or funicular, and the Hub balcony. This route lists every piece in progression order, including the three easiest to miss: the ceiling-fan piece, the computer-panel piece before the monorail, and the piece above the balcony lights.
Where are all 12 jigsaw pieces in We Were Here Tomorrow?
Follow the numbered route below rather than searching randomly. Most pieces sit near an obvious landmark, but several require a partner’s tool, a particular floor, or careful timing before an interaction can close the route back to the Hub.

| 12 | Common Room balcony | Ceiling lights or chandeliers | Face the Common Room and look overhead | High |
How do I find pieces 1–4 in the Common Room?
Start in the Hub’s Common Room. The first three pieces are all under the small table holding a half-finished jigsaw puzzle. After checking underneath it, search the nearby dining table: piece 4 is beside the test tubes and notepad, next to the cakes.
Where are pieces 5 and 6 in Research and Development?
Enter the two-story Research and Development room recognizable by its two key-card slots. On the lower level, piece 5 is on the laboratory counter to the right of the entrance, beneath the second floor. Climb the stairs for piece 6, which is inside the small cabinet immediately to the left of the stairs.

How do I get the ceiling-fan jigsaw piece?
Piece 7 is in the Prototype Room beside the left ceiling fan on the first platform. Take the elevator to that platform, or reach it through the platforming route. The player carrying the hook tool can pull the piece from the fan; if positioning is difficult, the other player can use the cube tool to block the fan so the hook user can make the pull safely.
Where are pieces 8 and 9 after the Prototype tutorial?
For piece 8, complete the Prototype tutorial and have the other player operate the lever. Go through the newly opened door and inspect the table immediately to the right of the entrance.

What happens after I collect all 12 pieces?
Return to the Common Room and place every piece in the unfinished puzzle. Walkthrough reports say the completed puzzle does not award an achievement, but they describe a small developer surprise afterward. That reward description comes from published guides rather than a publisher-confirmed achievement announcement.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why are the tools and partner coordination important?
We Were Here Tomorrow is described by Total Mayhem Games as an asymmetric co-op puzzle adventure. Each partner has a walkie-talkie and a unique tool, so piece 7 is the clearest example of why both players should communicate: one player’s hook and the other’s cube can solve the same obstacle together.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I collect the pieces out of order?
The pieces are positioned along the intended progression route, so collecting them in order is the safest approach. Returning to an earlier area may be possible, but the pre-monorail lever can remove the route back to the Hub.

Piece 12 is especially easy to miss because it is above the balcony at the ceiling lights or chandeliers. Piece 7 and piece 10 also have elevated miss risk because they depend on a fan interaction and a pre-lever detour.
Do both players need a specific tool for the fan piece?
The hook-tool player can pull the piece from the left fan. The partner’s cube tool can block the fan, which may make the interaction manageable when the moving blades interfere.
Is there an achievement for completing the puzzle?
Walkthrough sources report that completing the 12-piece puzzle does not unlock an achievement. Total Mayhem Games has not been cited as confirming a separate achievement for this collectible.
