There are 24 occupied territories to liberate in Izuhara in Ghost of Tsushima. Use the checklist below to track them, then use the directional clues to orient yourself on the in-game map. Two entries are liberated through story missions, and several farm locations do not become occupied until later in Act 2—so a peaceful location does not necessarily mean you have missed it.
Izuhara liberation checklist: all 24 territories
PowerPyx’s 2020 guide lists these 24 Izuhara territories. Names can differ slightly between guides; check the marker and label on your in-game map if a spelling does not match.

Map directions for finding Izuhara locations
These directional descriptions from GameWith are landmarks, not exact coordinates. Use them to narrow down an area, then confirm the territory marker in the game.

- North and northwest: Furuta Village is north, west of Komoda. Takeshi Farmstead is east of Furuta Village. Kechi Fishing Village is north of Traveler’s Rest Inn and Old Trading Post. Traveler’s Rest Inn is south of Kechi.
- Western and central areas: Shipyard is at the western edge, west of Yagata Farmstead. Yagata Farmstead lies between Shipyard and Old Trading Post. Old Trading Post is between Yagata Farmstead and Ogawa Dojo; Ogawa Dojo is south of Traveler’s Rest Inn. Yoichi’s Crossroads is east of Ogawa Dojo.
- Eastern areas: Komatsu Forge is at the eastern edge, north of Fallen Outpost. Kuta Farmstead is east of Golden Temple. Fallen Outpost is south of Komatsu Forge. Rushing Water Crossing is east of Fallen Outpost and west of Kuta River Bridge. Kuta River Bridge is south of Kuta Farmstead.
- South and southwest: Ohama Fishing Village is on the southwest edge, northwest of Tsutsu. Beachside Camp is north of Aoi Village. Aoi Village is along the southern edge, while Azamo Bay is at the southernmost point.
- Logging sites and crossings: Stone Arch Crossing is north of Logging Base. Logging Camp is south of Kuta River Bridge and above Salt Wind Estate; Salt Wind Estate is south of the camp. Logging Base is northwest of Tangled Crossroads, which is above Azamo Bay.
GameWith’s Izuhara territory map and directional list uses some different labels from PowerPyx. For example, it calls the farmstead near Furuta “Takeshi Farmstead,” while PowerPyx lists “Takeshiki Farmstead.” The names “Shipyard,” “Logging Camp,” and “Logging Base” also appear in different forms across the lists. Treat guide spellings as aids; the in-game map is the best reference for the label you need to follow.
Why an Izuhara territory may not be hostile yet
Some locations are unlocked by story progression
Komatsu Forge and Castle Kaneda are included in the 24, but PowerPyx identifies both as automatically liberated through story missions. They are not ordinary outposts that need to be cleared separately.

Several farms become occupied later in Act 2
Aoi Village, Ohama Fishing Village, Kuta Farmstead, Yagata Farmstead, Kechi Fishing Village, and Takeshiki Farmstead may only become occupied later in Act 2. If one is peaceful or does not count toward your total, advance the story and return to check it again.
Check the map after the story
PowerPyx says territories can still be completed after the story and that remaining areas are marked on the map automatically after the story. If a territory is still missing, revisit the map and follow its marker rather than relying only on a guide’s spelling.

What happens when Izuhara is fully liberated?
According to PowerPyx, clearing all 24 occupied areas removes Izuhara’s fog of war and reveals question marks for collectibles and side quests. The territory checklist is therefore useful both for liberation progress and for opening up more of the region’s map discoveries.

These are third-party guides, not official developer maps, and their labels are not fully consistent. Neither source supplies a complete verified coordinate set.
