Spoiler warning: Tenebris Somnia has four ending achievements: SOLVE ET COAGULA, MAGNUM OPUS, VIVUS EX MORTIBUS, and RENUNTIATIO. The first two are decided after Julia forges the Aurifer, while the two hidden endings require a new game after both main endings have been recorded. Save before your first Aurifer Relicta kill to earn the main pair without replaying the entire story.
How many endings does Tenebris Somnia have?
There are four ending achievements. SOLVE ET COAGULA and MAGNUM OPUS are the late-game branches; RENUNTIATIO is a short escape ending; and VIVUS EX MORTIBUS is a missable Bible-and-church route. The hidden routes are available only in a fresh game after both main endings are in your achievement record.

How do I get SOLVE ET COAGULA?
Forge the Aurifer, then leave every Relicta ghost alive when the game gives you the choice to attack. You do not need to defeat every other enemy without fighting; the condition concerns Relicta ghosts killed with the Aurifer. Continue through the finale after passing them and the game awards SOLVE ET COAGULA, the branch associated by walkthroughs with Lacuna as the final boss.
How do I get MAGNUM OPUS?
Forge the Aurifer and use it to kill at least one Relicta ghost. The guides describe this as a minimum of one kill, not a requirement to eliminate every Relicta. Finish the final route after making that choice to unlock MAGNUM OPUS, the branch associated with Hermes.

Can I get both main endings in one run?
Yes, by using a manual save before your first Aurifer Relicta kill. The save must preserve the no-kill state.
- Forge the Aurifer and create a manual save before attacking the first Relicta ghost.
- From that file, spare every Relicta and complete the finale for SOLVE ET COAGULA.
- Reload the untouched save, kill one Relicta with the Aurifer, and finish the alternate finale for MAGNUM OPUS.
This limits the replay to the branch and ending sections rather than the whole story. Do not overwrite the clean save after the first kill.

How do I unlock RENUNTIATIO?
Record both main endings first, then start a fresh game. In the ground-floor lobby, before using the elevator, select the Apartment Key and use it on the building’s glass front door. Julia walks away and the short RENUNTIATIO ending plays. No Bible sequence, church route, or boss fight is required for this ending.
How do I unlock VIVUS EX MORTIBUS?
Start a new game after both main endings are recorded and take the Bible from the opening lobby table. The three special encounters are order-sensitive: each must be triggered and completed before you solve its corresponding ordinary puzzle. Solving a puzzle first can close that encounter for the current run.

1. Floor 2 apartment: TV puzzle encounter
At the apartment’s TV puzzle, use the Bible, stand on the Mars/male floor symbol, and run counterclockwise around the circle of symbols six times. Survive the encounter and collect the Iron Cross before solving the normal TV puzzle.
2. Floor 1 community center: projector lock
Use the Bible at the projector lock and enter 6666. Survive the red-room encounter and take its Iron Cross before opening the lock through the ordinary solution.

3. Ground-floor green cinematography room
Before passing through the Copper Key door, use the Bible in the green cinematography room. Connect the yellow RCA cable to the camera, then cycle through the camera scenes until the encounter appears. Survive it and collect the third Iron Cross.
4. Floor 3 church route
On floor 3, use the blue door to the left of the elevator to reach the street. Place all three Iron Crosses at the marked church entrance and continue through the church sequence. The concluding fight is the Amy and Father John encounter; win it to unlock VIVUS EX MORTIBUS.

- Use two save strategies: keep the pre-Aurifer-kill file for the main pair, then begin a genuinely fresh game for the hidden routes.
- Do the Bible events first: normal solutions at the TV, projector, or Copper Key progression can make the related encounter unavailable in that run.
- Do not confuse the hidden routes: RENUNTIATIO is an immediate lobby-door exit, while VIVUS EX MORTIBUS requires all three Iron Crosses and the church sequence.
- Track the achievement record: the hidden-route requirement is tied to having both main endings recorded, not merely reaching their branch points.
Current walkthrough consensus supports these four routes, although older pages document only two endings or describe the hidden methods as unknown. The available platform information identifies the complete game as a Windows PC release on Steam.

Do I need to kill every Relicta ghost for MAGNUM OPUS?
No. The documented trigger is killing at least one Relicta ghost with the Aurifer. The route does not require exterminating every Relicta.

Can I trigger the Bible encounters after solving the normal puzzles?
Usually not for that run. Each encounter must happen before its matching ordinary solution, so keep a separate save or restart if you solved the puzzle first.
Where is the Apartment Key used for the short ending?
Use it on the glass entrance door in the ground-floor lobby, before riding the elevator. This is the RENUNTIATIO route.
What do the three Iron Crosses open?
They are placed at the marked church entrance reached through the blue door left of the floor-3 elevator. Their placement starts the VIVUS EX MORTIBUS church sequence.
