Supercell’s current probability tables cover Lucky Chests, not the original 2024 “Lucky Drops” system. As of the official hub dated March 2, 2026, Magic Lucky Chests can finish at one of five star rarities, while Standard Lucky Chests have four; each chest type has its own upgrade and reward tables. The figures below keep those two kinds of odds separate.
Lucky Drops and Lucky Chests are different versions of the system
Supercell introduced “Lucky Drops” in its March 18, 2024 update. Those drops came from Daily Tasks, used three taps that could raise rarity, and had launch-era upgrade chances of 20% for Common, 25% for Rare and 30% for Epic; Legendary was the highest tier. Listed launch rewards included Gold, Wild Cards, Elite Wild Cards, Books of Cards, Book of Books and Wild Shards. Those figures and rewards describe the 2024 system, not the current Lucky Chest odds. Supercell’s March 18, 2024 Lucky Drops update explains that launch system.

Supercell’s current drop-rate hub, dated March 2, 2026, separates Magic, Standard and Seasonal Lucky Chests. The detailed rates in the tables below are for Magic and Standard chests; the supplied official figures do not provide a Seasonal Lucky Chest table.
How to read the current odds
A Magic Lucky Chest uses four spins and can contain Cards, Gold, Wild Cards, Evolution Shards and cosmetics. A Standard Lucky Chest uses three spins and contains Cards and Gold. For either type, distinguish the starting star rarity from the final star rarity: the upgrade table gives the chance of finishing at each star level, while the reward table gives the chance of a reward category once that final rarity is reached. A reward-category percentage is not, by itself, the chance that a starting chest produces that reward.

Magic Lucky Chest: chance of each final star rarity
These are Supercell’s March 2, 2026 final-rarity chances, conditional on the chest’s starting rarity. Blank outcomes are not listed as possible results in the official table.
| Starting Magic chest | Finishes 1-Star | Finishes 2-Star | Finishes 3-Star | Finishes 4-Star | Finishes 5-Star |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-Star | 31.64% | 43.04% | 20.25% | 4.06% | 1.01% |
| 2-Star | — | 33.36% | 45.59% | 19.71% | 1.34% |
| 3-Star | — | — | 40.96% | 56.97% | 2.07% |
| 4-Star | — | — | — | 96.00% | 4.00% |
| 5-Star | — | — | — | — | 100.00% |
For example, a starting 1-Star Magic Lucky Chest has a 1.01% chance to finish as a 5-Star chest. A chest that starts at 5-Star is already at its final rarity, so its listed chance is 100% 5-Star.

Magic Lucky Chest: reward-category odds at Chest Level 13+
The following percentages are the chance of each listed reward category within a chest that has already reached the column’s final rarity. They apply to Chest Level 13 and above; below Level 13, rates vary because some rewards are not eligible. The March 2026 table is not a complete item-by-item quantity list.
| Reward category | 1-Star | 2-Star | 3-Star | 4-Star | 5-Star |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gold | 50.00% | 38.46% | 28.85% | — | — |
| Common Cards | 25.89% | 20.11% | 18.75% | 16.44% | 16.02% |
| Rare Cards | 24.11% | 18.72% | 17.46% | 15.30% | 14.91% |
| Epic Cards | — | 18.86% | 17.59% | 15.42% | 15.02% |
| Legendary Cards | — | — | 10.41% | 9.12% | 8.89% |
| Champion Cards | — | — | 3.10% | 2.72% | 2.65% |
| Common Wild Cards | — | — | — | 8.00% | 9.00% |
| Rare Wild Cards | — | — | — | 7.50% | 8.00% |
| Epic Wild Cards | — | — | — | 7.00% | 6.50% |
| Legendary Wild Cards | — | — | — | 6.50% | 5.50% |
| Champion Wild Cards | — | — | — | 6.50% | 4.00% |
| Banner | — | 3.85% | — | — | — |
| Emote | — | — | 3.85% | — | — |
| Evolution Shards | — | — | — | 5.50% | — |
| Full Evolution | — | — | — | — | 9.50% |
Thus, a 5-Star Magic Lucky Chest at Chest Level 13+ has a 9.50% reward-category chance for Full Evolution, according to Supercell’s March 2026 table. That is not a 9.50% chance from every starting chest: a lower-starting chest must first reach 5-Star. For instance, a 1-Star Magic chest has a 1.01% chance to finish at 5-Star, and only then does the 5-Star reward-category table apply. Calculating an overall probability for a particular reward also requires the applicable reward quantity and chest-level rules.

Standard Lucky Chest odds
Standard Lucky Chests have four star rarities and their own upgrade table. Supercell’s March 2, 2026 hub lists these final-rarity odds for a starting 1-Star Standard chest:
| Final rarity | Chance from a 1-Star Standard chest | Gold / Cards at Arena 1+ |
|---|---|---|
| 1-Star | 31.44% | 50% / 50% |
| 2-Star | 45.71% | 40% / 60% |
| 3-Star | 18.53% | 30% / 70% |
| 4-Star | 4.32% | 0% / 100% |
The Gold/Cards split is a reward-category split for the stated final rarity, not the upgrade chance. Standard Lucky Chest card-category percentages also vary by card rarity at Chest Level 13+; use the official drop-rate hub for that detailed breakdown rather than applying the Magic table to Standard chests.

How Arena and Chest Level affect what can appear
Supercell maps a player’s Arena progression to chest level. At the top end, Arenas 19–21 correspond to Level 13, Arenas 22–24 to Level 14, Arenas 25–27 to Level 15 and Arena 28+ to Level 16. Earlier groupings are Arena 1/Level 1, Arena 2/Level 2, Arena 3/Level 3, Arena 4/Level 4, Arena 5/Level 5, Arena 6/Level 6, Arena 7/Level 7, Arena 8/Level 8, Arenas 9–10/Level 9, Arenas 11–12/Level 10, Arenas 13–15/Level 11 and Arenas 16–18/Level 12. As a result, the Level 13+ Magic reward table does not describe every player’s chest.

Supercell also says a chest only contains cards the player has unlocked and cards available at the player’s Arena or below. A listed card rarity therefore does not mean every card of that rarity can appear for every account.
Why older Lucky Chest odds may not match
These probabilities have changed through updates. In December 2025, Supercell announced that the chance to upgrade to a 5-Star Magic Lucky Chest would rise from 0.3% to 1%; it also said Gold would be removed from 4- and 5-Star Lucky Chests and Wild Card quantities reduced while random cards would be offered in larger batches. In its 2026 mid-March update, Supercell announced revised 5-Star Magic reward quantities and rates for Chest Level 13+, including a Full Evolution category chance change from 5% to 9.5% and a Common Wild Card category change from 8% to 9%. The current hub’s date is March 2, 2026, so check its live table when relying on precise odds. See Supercell’s December 2025 update and its 2026 Mid-March Update for those changes.
