Fortnite Override’s Season 4 Sprite Mastery track now contains five Quack Sprites. You unlock them by extracting Sprites at Level 5, then reaching 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60 mastered Sprites. Once equipped, a Quack Sprite shares 50% of the Sprite XP it earns with the other Sprites you are carrying, allowing several collection entries to progress together.
Epic’s v42.40 update, released on October 15, 2026, opened the final Sprite Mastery rewards page and added the remaining Quack rewards. Epic describes the passive as follows: “Quack Sprite boosts every Sprite you’re carrying with an extra Sprite XP whenever it gains XP.” The practical result is a collection-acceleration effect rather than a new purchasable item.

Every Quack Sprite and its mastery requirement
The live Season 4 mastery tracker lists five rewards. The number in the second column is the total number of Sprites you must master, not the number of Quacks you need to collect.

All five occupy the same collection-support role. The track position and the underlying Sprite they represent are the meaningful differences. The available information does not establish a separate Quack-only ability for each variant.

How to unlock the Quack rewards
Quack Sprites are earned through Sprite Mastery, not from a normal chest table, a V-Bucks purchase or a separate accessory. Complete the following loop for each Sprite you want to count toward the tracker:
- Pick up a Sprite in a match. Add it to your run and equip it so it can gain experience.
- Raise it to Level 5. Experience earned during the match advances that Sprite toward its maximum level.
- Extract successfully. The Level 5 Sprite must leave the match successfully for the game to register it as mastered.
- Repeat with additional Sprites. Each successful Level 5 extraction adds one mastered Sprite to your total.
- Reach a reward threshold. The tracker awards Quack Jonesy at 40 mastered Sprites, Quack Bushranger at 45, Quack Adventure at 50, Quack Spooky Dash at 55 and Quack Klombo at 60.
- Claim or receive the reward on the Sprite Mastery page. Epic’s update notes identify the mastery reward track as the route to these Quacks.
An extraction that fails before registration does not advance the mastery total. In practice, a safe Level 5 extraction is more valuable than taking an unnecessary risk after the Sprite has reached its required level.

What the Quack Sprite effect does
The quantified effect reported for Quacks is a 50% share of the Sprite XP earned by the equipped Quack. That shared amount is distributed to the other Sprites in your inventory, so several unmastered entries can gain progress while you actively use one Quack.
- Equip the Quack: It must be the active Sprite for its XP gains to trigger the passive.
- Carry other Sprites: The shared XP needs other inventory Sprites as targets; carrying only a mastered Quack provides no collection benefit.
- Expect shared progress, not instant mastery: The passive adds XP to companions, but each Sprite still has to reach Level 5 and be extracted successfully to count as mastered.
The five variants use the same shared-XP behavior. Their names do not indicate five different Quack mechanics. Any normal ability associated with Jonesy, Bushranger, Adventure, Spooky Dash or Klombo belongs to that underlying Sprite identity; the published material does not specify an additional ability unique to the Quack version.

The fastest sensible way to use a Quack
After unlocking your first Quack
Equip it immediately and fill the rest of your inventory with Sprites that have not reached mastery. This turns the Quack’s own XP gains into simultaneous progress for the rest of the collection.
During each run
Keep the active Sprite alive long enough to reach Level 5, but prioritize an extraction route you can complete reliably. Because the mastery counter is tied to successful registration, a failed high-level run contributes less than a completed run with modest additional XP.

For the final thresholds
Track your total before entering a match so you know whether the next successful extraction will cross 40, 45, 50, 55 or 60. After the match, check the Sprite Mastery page to confirm the reward has posted before changing your loadout.

The thresholds above were listed on the live tracker on October 15, 2026, alongside the v42.40 update. Override Season 4 is reported to run through October 31, 2026. If you are playing after that date, verify that the season, tracker and reward availability have not changed; seasonal reward pages can be retired or revised when a new season begins.

Are Quack Sprites sold separately?
No separate purchase path is established for these rewards. They are progression rewards inside Fortnite Override’s Sprite Mastery system, and physical game products, currency cards or accessories do not directly unlock a Quack Sprite or activate its effect.
