The codes are Nightsworn Sight II: 2-11-1-10-7-6, III: 1-4-11-1-4-10, and IV: 1-8-1-6. A player report describes a separate repeat-clear reward route in Portal Pinnacle Ops, but it is not confirmed by an official current instruction.
Get Slayer’s Fang before pursuing its intrinsic upgrades
Slayer’s Fang is an Exotic Shotgun awarded for the first completion of Kell’s Fall, Bungie’s mission set in Fikrul’s Revenant Fortress. Bungie said the first completion grants the weapon to the player and everyone in their fireteam: Bungie’s January 2025 announcement.
The organ puzzle route unlocks the three variants beyond the starting intrinsic, Nightsworn Sight I. Each code opens a route; the upgrade is obtained by collecting its pickup, not by entering the melody alone.
Enter the organ codes and collect each pickup
At the pipe organ, stand on the circular plate in front of it and shoot the numbered notes from left to right in the order shown. When the sequence is complete, step off the plate to trigger the melody. The documented guide says these codes work on Normal or Expert difficulty. Use the pickups in the listed order if you want their names to correspond to the numbered intrinsic upgrades.

These codes and routes are documented in PC Gamer’s Slayer’s Fang guide. If an upgrade does not appear in the feed after the final pickup, check the weapon’s intrinsic selection; a 2025 video description warns that the final pickup may not display there.
Organ pickups and repeat-clear rewards are different reported routes
The organ directions describe pickups in Kell’s Fall. Separately, a June 2026 reply on Bungie’s Help forum reports that the intrinsic unlocks were fixed to a repeat-clear reward pattern in Portal Pinnacle Ops: the first clear grants the weapon, three clears grant intrinsics II–IV, and four clears on Master or higher award catalysts I–IV. This is a forum participant’s report, not an official patch note. Read the Bungie Help forum reply.

Bungie’s researched update 9.7.0 notes do not establish that the repeat-clear route has replaced the organ puzzles as the definitive current method. If you are playing Portal Pinnacle Ops and receive intrinsic rewards on repeat clears, that matches the reported behavior; otherwise, the documented organ route remains a concrete way to pursue the upgrades in Kell’s Fall.

Nightsworn Sight II, III, and IV are intrinsic variants, not catalyst upgrades. Catalysts are a separate progression track. Bungie’s January 2025 known-issues list mentioned a catalyst quest progress issue involving active tonics and a Scorgan Melodies Triumph tracking issue; those historic reports do not establish that an intrinsic pickup is currently bugged.
