Secret Level is a 15-episode adult animated anthology featuring original stories set in video game worlds, including Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer 40,000, PAC-MAN and New World: Aeternum. Amazon announced its exclusive Prime Video launch for December 10, 2024; the current Prime Video catalog lists Season 1, though availability and ratings can vary by territory.
What is Secret Level?
Secret Level is an anthology, not a single continuous adaptation: each installment is a separate animated story connected to a video game world. Prime Video’s Season 1 listing contains 15 individually titled episodes. That makes it easy to begin with a franchise you already know rather than treating the series as one long plot.

New World: Aeternum
Amazon Games says the New World: Aeternum episode introduces viewers to the game’s universe. The company identifies the game as an original IP developed by Amazon Games Orange County. Game Director Scot Lane said the team was “thrilled to share a brand-new story and introduce more people to the New World universe through Secret Level” in Amazon Games’ August 20, 2024 announcement.
Rank #2
Warhammer 40,000
The series includes a story set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Watching it does not require miniatures, a tabletop starter set or prior experience with the game: it is an individual animated episode. Readers who want to explore the tabletop world separately can look into Warhammer 40,000 starter sets or miniatures; product prices and availability depend on the seller and date.
When and where can you watch Secret Level?
Amazon Games announced on August 20, 2024 that Secret Level would launch exclusively on Prime Video on December 10, 2024, in over 240 countries and territories. Who made the series?
Prime Video credits Tim Miller and Dave Wilson among the producers and lists a large group of episode directors. Its cast listing includes Arnold Schwarzenegger, Keanu Reeves, Kevin Hart, Temuera Morrison, Ariana Greenblatt, Claudia Doumit and Gabriel Luna, among others. The cast list does not mean every actor appears in every episode.
Is Secret Level suitable for all ages?
The Prime Video listing accessed for this article marks the series 16+ and flags violence, alcohol use, smoking, strong language, and flashing or strobing patterns that may affect viewers with photosensitivity. Age labels and content guidance can differ by territory, so check the local listing before watching.
