If you relied on Anadius tools to access The Sims 4 DLC, the safest legitimate route is to use the official store for the platform you play on. EA currently lists The Sims 4 as free to play and links to downloads and platform storefronts; packs and kits are sold separately, so check your platform’s store for the pack you want.
What is known about Anadius being unavailable?
The Reddit post’s indexed text describes a Sims 4 player who says Anadius is gone and that they are uncomfortable with computers. It refers to using a Sims 4 unlocker for extra DLC. The full post and its comments were not available, so there is no reliable basis here to explain why the tools became unavailable, say whether they are permanently gone, or report what other commenters recommended.

Where can you get The Sims 4 officially?
EA’s official The Sims 4 page currently labels the game “Play for Free” and links to downloads for PC and Mac through the EA app, as well as storefronts for PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, and Epic. Use the destination for the platform you already play on.
- Windows or Mac: follow the EA app download link on EA’s Sims 4 page.
- PlayStation or Xbox: use the console storefront linked from EA’s page.
- Steam or Epic: use the corresponding storefront link if that is where you play.
How do you get packs and kits?
EA describes packs and kits as ways to expand the game. Open the official store associated with your platform and check whether the specific pack or kit you want is currently offered there. The available information does not establish that every item is available on every platform, or that purchases carry across platforms, so confirm the listing and account details before buying.
#1 Best Overall
- Requires The Sims 4 & all game updates. For PC, see minimum system requirements for the pack.
- Develop Parenting Skills – Level up your Sim’s parenting skills to satisfy their child’s needs and influence their behaviors. Gain new abilities through experience and choosing when to discipline bad actions, encourage good behavior, or just let kids be kids.
- Shape Your Sim’s Childhood – The decisions you make influence how your Sim parents and leave a lasting impact on their child’s future. Each choice shapes their personality, affects their traits, influences their family relationships, and guides their path into adulthood.
- Gather your Sim’s family to participate in new activities and spend quality time with each other. Sims of all ages can work together to complete a variety of school projects, express their creativity using construction blocks, or volunteer their time for good.
- Customize your Sims’ looks and their home with new family fashion and build items. Give the kids’ bedrooms extra personality, remodel the kitchen to feel homier, and let your Sims express their sporty or artistic sides with new outfits.
- Identify the platform and store account you use for The Sims 4.
- Open that platform’s official storefront from EA’s Sims 4 page or directly in your console or PC store.
- Search for the exact pack or kit and review its current price, edition, and compatibility details on the listing.
- Purchase only through the official store if you decide the offer fits your game and account.
Is merchandise a fix for missing DLC?
No. EA’s page also promotes Sims merchandise, including a Plumbob cap and character pins, but those are optional fan items and do not unlock game content.
