Embark’s “Escalation” roadmap, published January 23, 2026, outlined four updates for January through April: Headwinds, Shrouded Sky, Flashpoint and Riven Tides. It planned a new map for April, new ARC threats in February and March, and a new large ARC in April. The roadmap named content categories rather than giving full patch details, and Embark said its plans could change. These dates have passed; this is what the roadmap announced, not a current release schedule.

What was the ARC Raiders “Escalation” roadmap?

“Escalation” was Embark’s four-month content roadmap for January–April 2026. The studio described it as an overview of the kinds of content players could expect, not a complete specification for each update. Its announcement stated, “This roadmap reflects our current plans and is subject to change.” Read Embark’s roadmap announcement.

Embark framed the plan around the aftermath of Cold Snap: extreme weather would continue to test Raiders, while increased ARC presence troubled Shani as the Rustbelt became more overwhelmed. The team also said, “The scale of the impending escalation remains unknown.” That is narrative framing, not confirmation of a particular enemy, map, or mechanic.

When was the new ARC Raiders map planned?

The roadmap listed a new map under April’s Riven Tides update. It did not give a specific release day in the roadmap summary. February’s Shrouded Sky entry listed a map update, which is distinct from the April entry for a new map.

What new enemies did the roadmap announce?

It listed a new ARC threat for February’s Shrouded Sky and another for March’s Flashpoint, followed by a new large ARC in April’s Riven Tides. The roadmap did not name these threats or explain their abilities, behavior, or encounter mechanics. Its entries confirm planned categories, not detailed enemy designs.

What else was planned beyond maps and ARC threats?

Map conditions appeared in every month’s list: a minor condition in January, then a new condition in February, March, and April. The other entries covered progression or player-facing features: projects in January through March, a level-40-plus matchmaking option in January, a Raider deck and Expedition window in February, a Scrappy update in March, and another Expedition window in April. The roadmap did not explain how these features would work.

Is Escalation still a current schedule?

No. The roadmap covered January–April 2026, so its scheduled months are in the past as of October 8, 2026. The official ARC Raiders site listed October news and a Frozen Trail arrival scheduled for October 8. That is later current-site information, not part of the Escalation roadmap; check the official site for present updates. ARC Raiders is described there as a multiplayer extraction adventure, with access options listed for Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and GeForce NOW.
