The Anvil Blueprint can appear in Raider Containers on any ARC Raiders map and under any map condition. Extract it successfully, learn it in Speranza, then craft Anvil I at a Gunsmith 1 with 5 Mechanical Components and 6 Simple Gun Parts.
Where to find the Anvil Blueprint
The Anvil Blueprint is a scavengable weapon blueprint rather than a quest-exclusive reward. Current tracking lists it on all maps and under any map condition. You do not need a particular map, event, key room, or fixed location.

Search Raider Containers, including:
- Raider Caches
- Weapon Cases
- Ammo Cases
- Grenade Tubes
Raider Caches are the best practical target according to available community loot data, but no container guarantees the blueprint. In a review of nearly 150 community-recorded discoveries, Shacknews found that Raider Caches accounted for roughly half of reported finds, while also noting that the blueprint was not generally locked behind key rooms. Best way to farm it
- Queue for any available map; no special map condition is required.
- Prioritize Raider Caches and Weapon Cases along your route.
- Loot Ammo Cases and Grenade Tubes when they are convenient.
- Extract as soon as you find the blueprint if survival is the priority.
- Repeat the process rather than searching for a supposedly guaranteed room or spawn.
Dam Battlegrounds may be a convenient farming choice because of its Raider Cache routes, but the Anvil Blueprint is not exclusive to that map. Likewise, First Wave Caches remain a blueprint source, but they should not be treated as a reliable way to receive several rare blueprints every run. Update 1.18.0 reduced rare-blueprint drop rates from First Wave Caches on the Hurricane map condition after players were farming them consistently; Embark’s patch notes explain the change.

Extract and learn the blueprint
Finding the blueprint during a raid is not enough. It must be in your inventory after extraction.
- Return to Speranza after extracting.
- Open your inventory.
- Select the Anvil Blueprint.
- Choose “Learn and Consume.”
The blueprint is consumed and permanently unlocks the recipe. A blueprint you have already learned displays a check mark and cannot be consumed again. If you die before extracting, the blueprint is lost and must be found again.

How to craft Anvil I
After learning the blueprint, go to the Gunsmith in the Raider Den. The current recipe is:

The Gunsmith requirement is currently Level 1, not Level 2. This corrects older launch-period guides that reported a Gunsmith 2 requirement. Current recipe references are available from the ARC Raiders Wiki Anvil page and ARC Raiders Atlas.

Anvil upgrade costs
Learning the blueprint unlocks Anvil I. You do not need another blueprint for the higher tiers; each upgrade uses the Anvil from the previous tier.

Common mistakes and fixes
- The blueprint vanished after death: You must extract with it before learning it.
- “Learn and Consume” is missing: Check for the blueprint’s check mark; it may already be learned.
- The Anvil is not listed at the Gunsmith: Confirm that you learned the blueprint in Speranza and that the Gunsmith is installed at Level 1.
- The recipe remains unavailable: Check the exact materials and quantities. Anvil I requires Simple Gun Parts, not Heavy Gun Parts.
- You are searching for another blueprint to make Anvil II: Higher tiers are upgrades made from an existing Anvil, not separate blueprint unlocks.
- A container did not contain it: No Raider Container guarantees the drop. Keep farming the supported container types.
Can you buy Anvil I instead?
If you still have not found the blueprint, Tian Wen currently sells Anvil I for 15,000 Raider Coins, with a limit of three per day. This gives you the weapon but does not unlock the crafting recipe.
