Each eligible husk searched earns 300 points, and you need to extract safely for the run’s points to count. Wasp, Rocketeer, and Baron husks qualify; ARC Couriers and ARC Probes do not.
The objective is listed as “Search First Wave husks” or “Search Husks” in guides, but its availability depends on the weekly rotation. Check the live Trials menu before planning a run: the Trials overview says Season 5 ended September 22, 2026, and Season 6 is scheduled to start October 8, 2026, so the available information does not establish that this Trial is active on October 4.

What counts as a First Wave husk?
A First Wave husk is a pre-existing wreck you can search during a raid. It is not an ARC enemy that you kill and leave behind. The current dedicated Trial reference lists three eligible wreck types: Wasp, Rocketeer, and Baron. Searching ARC Couriers or ARC Probes does not award points for this objective.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesEach eligible husk searched is worth 300 points. The one-, two-, and three-star milestones are 1,000, 2,000, and 3,000 points, respectively. That means you need to search four husks for one star, seven for two stars, or ten for three stars, then extract with the points from that deployment.
#1 Best Overall
- ARC Raiders Deluxe Edition includes the base game and the following content: The Wanderer Set, including the following cosmetic items: “Valente” Outfit" “Pathfinder” Backpack,“Blanket Roll” Backpack Attachment.
- Plus: Character Cosmetic, Finger Gun Rapid Fire Emote, Cowboy Scrappy Body Type and Skin, 2 400 Raider Tokens.
Older coverage lists 400 points per husk and a doubled 800-point award during major map conditions. Those values are obsolete: the Trial reference and an August 2026 guide list a flat 300 points, and the Trial reference records that the 2× major-condition bonus was removed in update 1.26.0.
Where First Wave husks appear
Husks can appear across the maps, but map markers show possible positions, not guaranteed spawns. Only some marked wrecks may be present in a given match, so use a route as a starting plan and adjust to what you actually find.
Rank #2
Wasp husks
Wasp wrecks appear in large quantities at random across nearly every location and on all maps, making them the most practical targets when you want to build a quick route around nearby wrecks.
Rocketeer husks
Rocketeer wrecks are less common than Wasp wrecks. The Trial reference lists them on all maps except Stella Montis.
Rank #3
- Capture and Tame Dinosaurs: Discover over 100 different dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures on the island, finding ways to tame them into useful additions for your tribe's dyno herd
- Survive Above All: Hunger, thirst, basic safety, and protecting yourself from the weather are all part of the game
- Harvest, Hunt and Build: Cut down trees and turn them into a basic home, which you can quickly expand into a Jurassic estate. Hunt for meat, scavenge for plants (or start your own garden!)
- Customize Everything: An extensive crafting system invites you to mix and match materials scavenged from the island, while also modifying the colors, textures, shapes, and styles
- Explore the Island: Solve the mystery of The ARK as you explore this massive island, discovering Explorer's Notebooks (filled with clues!) throughout
Baron husks
Baron wrecks have limited static positions, with zero to three listed per map, and are not listed on Stella Montis. They award the same 300 points as other eligible husks, but the route guide says they take longer to open. Search one when it is directly on your route; if a quicker Wasp or Rocketeer wreck is closer, prioritize that instead.
Choose a map and adapt your route
Dam Battlegrounds and Spaceport are strong choices for finding several possible wrecks without crossing the whole map. A recent route guide recommends Spaceport during Hidden Bunker for a longer event raid with many mapped potential husk locations, or Blue Gate during Locked Gate as another longer-raid option. These conditions are not always available.
Rank #4
- Use cunning strategy and tactics to tame, train, ride and breed the 100+ dinosaurs and other primeval creatures roaming the dynamic, persistent ecosystems across land, sea, air, and even underground Build your character's strengths and gain items, skills, and pet creatures using in-depth role-playing systems
- Start a tribe with hundreds of other players to survive and dominate competing tribes...and ultimately discover ARK's true purpose
- Build a fire or shelter, then craft customizable clothing & armors to help protect against damage and extreme temperatures on your way to unlocking advanced technologies and equipment
- Chop down trees and mine metal and other precious resources to build massive multi-leveled structures composed of complex snap-linked parts
On Dam Battlegrounds, the guide identifies Old Battlegrounds, Water Treatment, Red Lakes, and nearby camps as useful areas to check. On Spaceport, it points to the outskirts. Treat these as guide-suggested search areas rather than guaranteed spawn routes: select a loop that fits your insertion point, then change direction if the wrecks are absent.
Husk Graveyard can increase husk density, but it may make a husk electrified and damaging to breach. Use the extra targets only if the condition is active and you can handle the hazard safely; its schedule and availability are not established.

How to earn the score and get out alive
- Check the Trials menu. Confirm that the Search First Wave husks objective is active and note its star thresholds before deploying.
- Pick a compact route. Choose Dam Battlegrounds or a suitable event route on Spaceport or Blue Gate. Start with likely clusters near your insertion point rather than committing to every map marker.
- Search eligible wrecks. Search Wasp, Rocketeer, or Baron husks you can reach safely. A wreck that another Raider has already breached still counts when you search it.
- Wait out hazards. If the game or guide indicates a breach animation or flame hazard, let it clear before continuing to loot or moving on. During Husk Graveyard, watch for electrification while breaching.
- Keep moving without over-looting. The Trial rewards the search action, not extra ordinary loot collection. Adrenaline Shots can reduce time lost waiting for stamina while moving between wrecks.
- Extract safely. Avoid unnecessary fights, keep a viable extraction route, and stop chasing one more wreck when the risk to the run outweighs the possible points.
Trial points are tallied on extraction, and only your best score for that challenge is kept. Progress does not accumulate across several raids: a run must be a single surface raid that ends in safe extraction. A failed extraction does not bank that deployment’s score.
How many husks for three stars?
At 300 points per search, the 3,000-point milestone requires ten eligible husks in one extracted run. The same arithmetic gives four husks for 1,000 points and seven for 2,000. Because you must extract to bank the score, a shorter route with a reliable exit can be a better choice than stretching the raid for a tenth wreck when the risk is high.
