ARC Raiders update 1.3.0 went live on November 20, 2025. Its headline change was a Venator nerf: Embark reduced the fire-rate bonuses from upgrades and increased the pistol’s weight, while leaving its damage and accuracy unchanged in that patch. The update also reworked several item values and recipes, adjusted explosive damage against ARC, fixed map and movement issues, and added an unexplained Raider Den surprise: “Your Raider Den has been ducked out.”
This is a historical account of version 1.3.0, not a guide to current weapon balance. A later official patch changed the Venator’s damage, so version and date matter when comparing its stats.
ARC Raiders November 20 update: what changed in 1.3.0?
Embark’s November 20, 2025 patch combined balance adjustments, bug fixes, and a small cosmetic surprise. The most consequential weapon adjustment targeted the fully upgraded Venator. The patch also changed the economy and crafting for Deadline, Power Cells, and launcher ammunition, and rebalanced explosive damage against ARC enemies.

Venator nerf 1.3.0: upgrade fire rate reduced, weight increased
Embark said the fully upgraded Venator had been over-performing and could outgun full squads using close-range weapons. In the adjustment, the team cut the fire-rate bonuses supplied by upgrades and raised the pistol’s weight. It explicitly said damage and accuracy were left intact in this change.

The developer note described the weapon as “capable of outgunning full squads using close range weapons.” It is signed “//Ossen,” but the official note does not provide a named-person role alongside the comment.

Economy and crafting changes
1.3.0 changed the buy and sell values, trader stock, or recipes for three items. Launcher ammo also became craftable at a Workbench without a blueprint.

Explosive damage against ARC
Embark rebalanced explosive damage against ARC for greater consistency and adjusted Hullcracker damage. The patch notes say explosions against small enemies such as Turrets were largely unaffected, while large enemies such as Bastions would typically take somewhat less damage. The wording is qualitative; the notes do not give a specific damage percentage or a per-enemy damage table.

Rubber duck Raider Den update: what the notes say
The update’s complete duck announcement is: “Your Raider Den has been ducked out.” The official note does not explain how the feature works, specify a numeric display or collection limit, or describe a way to control it. Claims about exact duck mechanics or limits go beyond what the announcement establishes.
Other fixes and adjustments in the 1.3.0 patch notes
ARC behavior, Shredders, and combat clarity
- ARC could no longer call in reinforcements outside the map.
- Shredders detected and moved toward Lure Grenades more reliably. Their handling and braking were adjusted, and navigation improvements were intended to reduce getting stuck on corners.
- Explosion tinnitus and concussion effects received reduced volume attenuation for clearer audio.
- Enemy ground detection on steep surfaces was improved to reduce erratic movement.
- Barricades could no longer be placed overlapping a character to clip through walls or enter locked rooms.
Map fixes
- Dam Battlegrounds: Fixed players getting stuck in the Dam Control Tower elevator shaft.
- Spaceport: Added collision to the Hidden Bunker stairwell walls and ceiling; fixed entry through a wall near the Launch Tower ramp and access to a locked Control Tower room without a key.
- Blue Gate: Fixed railing props that incorrectly blocked bullets.
- Stella Montis: Fixed terrain fall-through, a stuck location at Train Station, and missing visibility collision in Business Center walls. Removed two spawns that were too close to ARC spawn areas.
Weapons, progression, and technical fixes
- Aphelion: Fixed excessively bright distant tracers and increased blueprint drop rates.
- Stitcher: Corrected displayed reload scaling across upgrade levels.
- Fixed crashes involving Raider Voice on PCs without AVX2 and surrendering after reconnect.
- Fixed invisible collision that could remain after scavenging Shredder parts.
- Corrected Trials weekly rollover and rank display.
- Embark recommended AMD graphics driver 25.11.1 to reduce recent AMD GPU crash issues.
Is the 1.3.0 Venator balance still current?
No. The 1.3.0 figures above describe the November 20, 2025 adjustment, not the weapon’s current balance. In its Patch Notes 1.17.0, last updated March 18, 2026, Embark later reduced the Venator’s headshot multiplier from 2.5 to 2 and base damage from 9 to 8. That establishes at least one subsequent adjustment; it does not, by itself, document every balance change after that date.
