You cannot craft Simple Gun Parts at the Refiner or Gunsmith. Instead, obtain them from raid containers, ARC enemies, unwanted weapons, higher-tier gun parts, and limited vendor stock. Their main refining use is producing Light, Medium, or Heavy Gun Parts, each for 4 Simple Gun Parts.
Is there a Simple Gun Parts Blueprint?
No. Current game information does not list a blueprint for manufacturing Simple Gun Parts. The craftable related items are Light Gun Parts, Medium Gun Parts, Heavy Gun Parts, and Complex Gun Parts.

The confusion likely comes from Light Gun Parts: they use a similar green icon and appear near Simple Gun Parts in the Refiner interface. Finding a blueprint for Light Gun Parts does not unlock a recipe for Simple Gun Parts.

What you can craft from them
| Output | Cost | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Light Gun Parts | 4 Simple Gun Parts | Refiner 2 and the Light Gun Parts Blueprint |
| Medium Gun Parts | 4 Simple Gun Parts | Refiner 2 and the Medium Gun Parts Blueprint |
| Heavy Gun Parts | 4 Simple Gun Parts | Refiner 2 and the Heavy Gun Parts Blueprint |
| Complex Gun Parts | 2 Light, 2 Medium, and 2 Heavy Gun Parts | Refiner 3 and the Complex Gun Parts Blueprint |
Simple Gun Parts are also used for weapon crafting, upgrades, and repairs. Examples include the Anvil I, which costs 5 Mechanical Components and 6 Simple Gun Parts, and the Burletta I, which costs 3 Mechanical Components and 3 Simple Gun Parts. The Arpeggio I requires Gunsmith 2 plus 6 Mechanical Components and 6 Simple Gun Parts. Recipe details can vary by weapon and tier; check the Gunsmith before spending materials.

How to learn the real gun-part blueprints
Blueprints can come from scavenging, Trials, quests, and projects. A blueprint found during a raid must be extracted successfully; current blueprint guidance warns that dying before extraction can cause a blueprint in your inventory to be lost.
In Speranza, select the blueprint and choose “Learn and Consume.” Learning consumes the blueprint. A blueprint you already know is marked with a check mark and cannot be consumed again. The currently verified sources confirm this label but do not establish one universal top-level menu, tab, or controller-button path for reaching it, so the exact navigation may vary by interface version.
Best ways to farm Simple Gun Parts
1. Search high-value containers
Search weapon cases, Raider bags, suitcases, trash cans, breach rooms, and other general loot containers. Current guides report Simple Gun Parts across these container types and maps. When making a targeted run, prioritize locations with many containers rather than wandering between isolated spawns.
Rank #2
Weapon Cases and Raider Caches are especially relevant when your broader goal is finding weapon or gun-part blueprints. The blueprint database lists weapon and gun-part blueprints in Raider Containers, with the Medical Bag excluded and Tempest treated as an exception.
2. Kill basic ARC units on your route
Wasps, Hornets, Turrets, and other basic ARC units are reported sources of Simple Gun Parts. If you are specifically farming parts, killing these enemies encountered along your route can add returns to the run. The claim that Hornets never drop Simple Gun Parts is not supported by the current guide data.
3. Bring unwanted weapons back to Speranza
When your inventory allows it, extract with unwanted weapons and recycle them at Speranza instead of salvaging them in the field. Reported examples include:
Rank #3
| Weapon | Simple Gun Parts from recycling |
|---|---|
| Anvil I | 2 |
| Anvil IV | 5 |
| Burletta I | 2 |
| Il Toro IV | 5 |
The exact return depends on the item. The important rule is that Speranza recycling generally pays better than field salvaging for the listed categories.
4. Recycle higher-tier gun parts only when necessary
Recycling Light, Medium, or Heavy Gun Parts returns 2 Simple Gun Parts. Complex Gun Parts return 3. This can be worthwhile when you urgently need Simple Gun Parts and have a looted higher-tier part you do not need.
It is not a profitable conversion if you made that higher-tier part from Simple Gun Parts. Crafting one Light, Medium, or Heavy Gun Part costs 4 Simple Gun Parts, but recycling it returns only 2, creating a net loss of 2. Do not craft parts solely to recycle them.

5. Check vendor stock
Current guides report limited Simple Gun Parts for sale in Speranza. One describes a seed vendor offering 5 Simple Gun Parts, while another attributes a small daily seed-purchased stack to Trader Celeste with a 24-hour reset. The sources do not clearly establish whether these are separate systems, renamed systems, or inconsistent descriptions, so check the relevant vendor stock and refresh information in your current build.
A targeted Stella Montis route
One current farming guide identifies Stella Montis as particularly productive and recommends this loop:
Free tools Windows power users keep installed
One-click scans. No signup required.
- Metro Admin: search all containers.
- Lobby: search all three floors, including breach rooms.
- Business Center: check containers that were only partially looted.
- Atrium: include the second floor.
- Metro: extract via the metro.
That guide reports approximately 30–40 Simple Gun Parts in equivalent value over 10–15 minutes. This is a guide estimate, not an official drop rate or controlled benchmark, so treat it as a route suggestion rather than a guaranteed yield.

Recycling and salvage yields
| Item | Recycle at Speranza | Salvage in the field |
|---|---|---|
| Unusable Weapon | 5 Simple Gun Parts | 3 |
| Light Gun Parts | 2 | 1 |
| Medium Gun Parts | 2 | 1 |
| Heavy Gun Parts | 2 | 1 |
| Complex Gun Parts | 3 | 2 |
Use Speranza recycling when you can safely carry the item out. Salvaging is the fallback when extraction is too risky or inventory space matters more than maximum material return.
Common conversion mistakes
- Searching for a nonexistent recipe: there is no current Simple Gun Parts Blueprint.
- Confusing Simple and Light Gun Parts: similar icons and nearby Refiner entries make this easy to do.
- Crafting parts to recycle them: a 4-to-2 exchange loses half the Simple Gun Parts invested.
- Salvaging too early: Speranza recycling gives better reported returns for the listed items.
- Turning gun parts into Metal Parts: Simple Gun Parts recycle into 2 Metal Parts at Speranza or salvage into 1 Metal Part in the field. This is usually a poor trade when gun parts are your bottleneck.
- Assuming a looted blueprint is safe: extract before treating it as secured.
How to prioritize your stockpile
- Keep enough Simple Gun Parts for repairs and weapons you actively use.
- Refine them into Light, Medium, or Heavy Gun Parts only when you need those materials for a real recipe.
- Do not refine merely because the Refiner has an available blueprint.
- Recycle surplus weapons at Speranza when possible.
- Recycle a higher-tier gun part only if the immediate Simple Gun Parts are more valuable to you than the part itself.
- Use vendor stock as a supplement, not as your primary farming plan.
The current information summarized here reflects guides updated in late 2025 and April 2026. A later Headwinds update changed some other loot behavior, including weapon-case weapon quality, but the cited reporting does not say that it added a Simple Gun Parts Blueprint or changed the four-part refining costs.
