If you want to play baseball with hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza and other summer foods, you’re looking for Google’s Fourth of July 2019 Doodle. It is an interactive backyard BBQ ball game in which food characters bat a baseball and try to “hit it out of the park.” It launched on July 4, 2019—not as a new July Fourth game in 2026.
How to find the food-baseball game
- Open Google’s Fourth of July 2019 archive page.
- Use the embedded interactive frame on that page, or open the game directly at Google’s game URL.
- Play the backyard BBQ baseball game by batting the incoming baseball with the selected food character.
Google’s official archive does not provide a written control guide, keyboard shortcut, menu path or command syntax. That means there is no verified official key sequence to reproduce here; the game’s interaction is presented through its embedded interface.

What the game is about
The Doodle turns an American summer cookout into a baseball matchup. The batter is a personified food, and the stated goal is to hit the ball out of the park. The collectible baseball-card roster includes:
| Character | Food |
|---|---|
| H-Dog | Hot dog |
| Triple | Hamburger |
| Wild Slice | Pizza |
| The Cobbra | Corn on the cob |
| 2 Scoops | Ice-cream cone |
| The Sauce | Ketchup bottle |
| Big Red | Watermelon |
| Sluggin Surloin | Sirloin steak |
Do not confuse it with the 2026 July Fourth Doodle
Google’s Fourth of July 2026 Doodle is a separate project. Google describes it as an American-flag video with confetti celebrating the United States’ 250th anniversary, launched on July 3, 2026. It is not the interactive food-baseball game.

- GOODBYE HOME RUN: Launching levers and hidden contraptions make this miniature baseball game a real crowd-pleaser! Step up to the plate and swing for the fences! Realistic baseball action allows you to hit singles, doubles, triples, and homers with the spring-loaded bat.
- RUN THE BASES: If you want to play baseball everyday even when it’s raining or night time, the Super Stadium Baseball Game is perfect for you. You get everything you love about baseball without leaving the table. Hot dogs and sodas not included.
- TONS OF CONTROLS: Magnetized infield creates ball movement. Dual Pitching lever controls curve balls and changes speed. Your opponent won't be able to predict the type of ball. You can throw a fastball, slider, sinker, change up, or whatever your preferred pitch is.
- ALL THE BASEBALL FEATURES: The Super Stadium Baseball Game has everything of a real baseball game including Dual breaking ball lever, switch hitter feature, disappearing miracle ball, score pad, adjustable fielders positions, batter counts and the ability to choose pitches thrown.
- PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS: Package contains (1) Game Zone Super Stadium Baseball Game with Realistic Baseball Action. Includes (1) playing field, (1) bat, (1) pitcher, (3) base runners, (7) fielders, (3) score pins, (5) balls, score sheet, and instruction manual. 1 - 2 players, Ages 6 and up.
So pages describing the BBQ baseball Doodle as “today’s” or a newly launched July Fourth game are using the wrong date. The food game belongs to July 4, 2019; the 2026 Doodle is a different, non-game celebration.
