The sign-up window for the later Arknights: Endfield Steam Pioneer Test is closed: recruitment ran from Aug. 26 to Sept. 10, 2026 (UTC+8), and the test began Sept. 15. The headline “Arknights: Endfield Beta Test Sign-up Now Open” refers instead to a separate Windows PC beta announced on Dec. 14, 2024. The two tests had different dates, platforms and progress policies.

Are Arknights: Endfield test sign-ups still open?

No—not for the 2026 Steam Pioneer Test described in Gryphline’s recruitment notice. Its application period ended Sept. 10, 2026 (UTC+8), ahead of the test’s Sept. 15 start. The recruitment notice said only a portion of applicants would be selected, with selected applicants notified by email; submitting the survey did not guarantee access. The older headline “Arknights: Endfield Beta Test Sign-up Now Open” refers to a different announcement, published Dec. 14, 2024. That Windows PC beta’s notice said the recruitment end date and test start date would be announced later. Do not use the 2026 Steam test dates as dates for the 2024 beta. How did the two test phases differ?

Detail 2024 Windows PC beta 2026 Steam Pioneer Test
Announcement and recruitment Announced Dec. 14, 2024; recruitment end and test start dates were to be announced later. (Gryphline, 2024 announcement) Recruitment Aug. 26–Sept. 10, 2026 (UTC+8); test began Sept. 15, 2026. (Gryphline, recruitment notice; test notice)
Platform and access Windows PC; the announcement described a beta and did not provide the later Steam test’s selection details. (Gryphline, 2024 announcement) Limited access for selected applicants. Gryphline said selected applicants would be notified by email; access holders received a Steam product code at the email address used to apply. (Gryphline, recruitment notice; test notice)
Purchases and progress No paid content; progress would not be retained, and the server would close and data be deleted after the test. (Gryphline, 2024 announcement) In-game purchases were enabled and there was no data wipe during the test. The notice does not say that test progress would carry into the released game. (Gryphline, test notice)

What did the Steam Pioneer Test include?

The 2026 test ran on live servers. Gryphline said supported platforms shared game content, account data and progress during the playtest, and warned that the Steam build was still being optimized, with possible bugs, client problems or service instability. These terms describe that playtest, not the 2024 beta or necessarily the released game. Gryphline’s Steam test notice

What PC specifications did the 2026 recruitment notice list?

Gryphline published the following requirements for the 2026 Steam test. They are phase-specific figures from that recruitment notice, not universal or necessarily current requirements for the live game. Gryphline’s recruitment notice

What should applicants know about access and account safety?

Gryphline advised applicants to use official channels and protect their account information. The application was a recruitment survey, and selection was limited; an application alone did not provide Steam access. The publisher’s notice does not give a published applicant count, number of available places or selection rate. Gryphline’s recruitment announcement
