Arma Reforger 1.3, the Fire Support update, introduced gunship variants for the Mi-8 and UH-1H, US and Soviet mortars, destructible buildings and trees, and new vehicles including the LAV-25 and BRDM-2. The initial release was version 1.3.0.130; two later updates, 1.3.0.144 and 1.3.0.170, added further fixes and adjustments. The initial update was delivered on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox.
What arrived with the initial 1.3.0.130 release?
Bohemia Interactive published the initial 1.3 changelog on 27 March 2025. Its new content spans vehicles, weapons, environmental destruction, and a single-player scenario. The official 1.3.0.130 changelog and Fire Support overview provide the release details.

Vehicles and aircraft
- LAV-25: Added for US forces in olive green and MERDC variants. Bohemia describes it as armed with a 25 mm M242 autocannon and a coaxial 7.62 mm M240 machine gun.
- BRDM-2: Added for USSR and FIA forces. The publisher describes it as smaller and lighter than the BTR-70, with a 14.5 mm KPVT and 7.62 mm PKT.
- Gunships: UH-1H and Mi-8 helicopter gunship variants gained adjustable collimator sights, detachable rocket pods, and ammunition options.
- Other additions: The changelog lists civilian helicopter variants, an FIA BTR-70, several UAZ-452 Buchanka variants, and a cargo Šárka 1203.
Mortars, weapons, and destruction
The update added the US M252 81 mm mortar and Soviet 2B14 82 mm mortar, plus a Soviet PKMN machine gun and a UK-59 4x scope. Bohemia presents mortars as tools for attacking or supporting forces at range and recommends coordination with spotters; that is the publisher’s description, not an independent performance assessment.

Single-player scenario
A new elimination scenario puts the player in the role of a US Special Forces soldier tasked with eliminating a Soviet officer near Régina. The official overview presents different approaches, including a long-range rifle, an explosive ambush, or close-range stealth.
How did 1.3 change Conflict and arsenal rules?
Players could no longer spawn on contested bases. Capture time was also changed to depend on how many bases are connected to the contested base through the radio network, rather than on the previous composition-count basis. Bohemia also introduced smaller Conflict variants intended to offer more condensed, faster-paced matches.

At Ammunition Supply Depots, more advanced or expensive weapons and items require players to rank up. The initial changelog also says arsenal items can be rank-locked and that players with Renegade rank cannot use arsenals.

The overview also says AI soldiers were improved at targeting moving targets, seeking cover under fire, returning fire, counterattacking, and flanking. It gives no quantitative benchmark for these behaviors.

The later notes are follow-up changes, not features of the initial 1.3.0.130 release. They extend the 1.3 version line with balance adjustments, bug fixes, and technical and modding updates.
Version 1.3.0.144 — 10 April 2025
The official 1.3.0.144 update notes list armor-material and rocket-lifetime adjustments; LAV-25 sight, reticle, wreck, and camera tweaks; a fix for floating assets left behind when nearby buildings were destroyed; mortar decal-rendering fixes; and stability and multiplayer fixes.

The official 1.3.0.170 update notes describe disabling destruction on several assets, including ammunition crates and fuel-service prefabs; a supply-loading change for the BRDM-2 and LAV-25; rendering-memory optimization; several crash fixes; and Workbench and modding changes.
