Yes, art of rally is available on iPhone, iPad, and Android. However, it is not a brand-new 2026 release: Noodlecake’s mobile versions launched in January 2024. The paid port brings a substantial rally game to phones and tablets, but touch controls, device performance, controller support, and the separate Australia DLC are important considerations before buying.
The phrase “extremely popular” should be treated as marketing language rather than an established fact. art of rally is a stylized, top-down rally game inspired by the sport’s golden era. It uses colorful, minimalist environments instead of photorealistic presentation and features cars modeled after rallying’s 1960s, Group A, Group B, and Group S periods.

Do not treat the Australia content as automatically included in the base mobile purchase. Its availability and price can vary by storefront and region.
How much does the mobile version cost?
art of rally is a paid game, not a free-to-play racer. The retrieved U.S. Google Play listing showed a price of $7.99. Apple storefront views showed inconsistent prices, including $7.99 and $2.99, which may reflect a promotion, a changing store price, or differences between storefront views. The Australia DLC was listed at $1.99 on the U.S. Apple page.

Prices vary by country, taxes, platform, and promotions. Check the live App Store page or Google Play page immediately before purchasing. The game should not be described as entirely free of in-app purchases because the Australia expansion is sold separately.
Touch controls are the biggest question mark
The game’s default mobile input uses on-screen touch buttons. That can work, but art of rally is built around precise steering and weight transfer rather than simple left-right arcade handling.
The iOS listing says the touch controls can be remapped through the game’s options. Player feedback on both storefronts nevertheless raises recurring concerns about small controls, limited steering options, and the difficulty of making precise corrections on a touchscreen. Those complaints are user reports, not universal test results, and the layout or behavior may differ between iOS and Android versions or change through updates.
This distinction matters: some frustration comes from the game’s intentionally demanding rally physics, while some players also report that the mobile controls make that challenge harder to manage. If you expect a forgiving arcade racer, the game may feel difficult even on a large tablet.

Controller support is useful, but not perfect
Both storefront listings advertise controller support. A compatible PlayStation, Xbox, or MFi controller should make steering and throttle control more precise than small touch buttons, making it the preferred way to play for many buyers.
Controller support does not necessarily mean a complete console-style interface. Store reviews report incomplete controller navigation in some menus, particularly on Android. If playing with a controller is essential, confirm that your particular controller and device combination works as expected; the store label alone is not a guarantee that every menu is fully navigable.

The mobile ports have a strong visual identity and a large amount of content, but performance can vary with hardware. Android player feedback includes reports of overheating, inconsistent frame rates, optimization problems, and menu-related controller limitations on some devices. These reports identify potential failure modes, not universal defects on every Android phone or tablet.
Apple devices also have separate version histories and user feedback. The surfaced iOS listing identified version 1.0.36, dated October 15, 2025, while Google Play showed an update dated November 27, 2025. Because the current date is later than those surfaced entries, check both live listings for newer updates before buying.

Do not assume that a newer or more expensive phone will automatically deliver identical results to another device. Screen size, sustained thermal performance, operating-system version, controller model, and the specific mobile build can all affect the experience.

Verdict: a substantial mobile rally game with real caveats
art of rally is worth considering if you want a premium rally game with 78 stages, historic cars, leaderboards, free-roam areas, and a memorable visual style. The mobile release is substantial enough to stand on its own, and a controller can address the biggest precision problem.
It is not an unconditional recommendation. Touch driving may feel cramped, the difficulty is intentional, Android performance reports are mixed, and controller support may be incomplete in menus. Treat the Australia expansion as optional paid content, verify the current price and device compatibility, and do not read the “extremely popular” label as independently proven by the available store data.
