Assassin’s Creed Mirage: stealth in ninth-century Baghdad
Ubisoft framed Mirage as an homage to the original Assassin’s Creed and a return to stealth-focused play. It follows Basim’s development from street thief to master Assassin in ninth-century Baghdad. Ubisoft’s launch announcement lists PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC via Ubisoft Connect, and Amazon Luna. See Ubisoft’s launch information.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite: cooperative survival shooting
Fireteam Elite is a third-person cooperative survival shooter set in the Alien universe. Xbox’s 2021 announcement says players can team up with up to two other players or AI teammates across four campaigns, choosing classes and customizing weapons. See Xbox Wire’s game overview.
The practical distinction is the play style: Mirage centers on solo stealth action, while Fireteam Elite is built around a squad fighting together. The official announcements cited here do not establish a comparative quality ranking.

Are they on Game Pass now?
The August 2025 announcement only records their planned additions at that time. Xbox’s October 7, 2026 Wave 1 announcement covers that month’s additions and games leaving on October 15, but neither title appears in those lists. That omission does not confirm whether either game is currently in the catalog. Check the live Game Pass catalog for your region and platform before subscribing or downloading.
