Atlanta FaZe’s move to Las Vegas is no longer imminent: the team officially announced FaZe Vegas on September 19, 2025. Trademark applications reported nine days earlier had hinted at the change, but the team’s announcement—not the filings—confirmed the new Call of Duty League identity.
What happened to Atlanta FaZe?
On September 19, 2025, the official FaZe Vegas account announced: “We’re excited to announce Las Vegas as the new home for FaZe in the Call of Duty League.” The same announcement called FaZe Vegas “a continuation of the Atlanta FaZe legacy, with a fresh new look to properly do justice to the entertainment capital of the world.” The team’s official news page later used FaZe Vegas as its public identity in dated 2026 team and competition updates.
That wording establishes how the team presented the change: as a continuation of Atlanta FaZe’s legacy under a new city identity. It does not, by itself, establish unchanged ownership, league-franchise rights, or legal succession.
What did the trademark filings show?
On September 10, 2025, Insider Gaming reported that FaZe Media had filed two trademark applications. The report described one image as an “FV” logo and another as an F with the word VEGAS, and linked to USPTO records.

Where can fans find FaZe Vegas merchandise?
