If you want the closest match to Code Geass: Lost Stories’s tactical squad feel, try Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium. If anime presentation, team composition, and building a base matter more than real-time Knightmare Frame battles, Arknights is a better fit. Neither is a Code Geass story continuation or a direct replacement; each preserves a different part of the appeal.
Which game should you try first?
| Your priority | Try | Why it may fit | What it does not replicate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Squad tactics, cover, and positioning | Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium | Its Google Play listing describes tactical RPG stages built around cover, terrain, mechanisms, and squad positioning. | Its setting and combat system are different; it is not a Code Geass adaptation. Check current platform and regional availability in your store. |
| Anime style, operator classes, team planning, and base development | Arknights | Its App Store listing describes anime-style RPG and strategy elements, Operators across classes, Auto Deploy, and base construction. | The listing does not establish real-time Knightmare Frame combat or a one-to-one gameplay match. |
Lost Stories blended a voiced alternate Code Geass story with real-time strategic battles using Knightmare Frames. These recommendations are gameplay analogues: choose based on which part of that mix you want to keep.

Arknights for anime strategy and team planning
Arknights suits players who want anime presentation alongside class-based team composition and a base-development layer. The App Store listing describes a range of Operators across classes, strategy and RPG elements, Auto Deploy, and base construction.
It is a different style of strategy game from a real-time Knightmare Frame battle: the cited listing does not promise that combat format or a Code Geass connection. Consider it when the draw is assembling a team and developing a base, not reproducing Lost Stories encounter-for-encounter.
