Look for the exact fighter, stage, costume, or pack you want in the sale listing’s included-content breakdown. Then confirm the platform and edition, and check whether your account already owns it. A label such as “Deluxe,” “Ultimate,” or “Season Pass” is not a complete contents list.
What’s included in this edition?
Start with the add-on’s exact store name. A character, costume, stage, and currency pack are different items, even when their names are similar. Match the item itself—not just the edition’s marketing name—to the offer’s component list.

On the offer page, look for wording such as “included in this bundle,” “add-ons included,” or an edition-contents breakdown. If the sale page is vague, check the publisher’s product page for the same game, platform, and edition. KRAFTON’s Callisto Protocol package guide, for example, distinguishes Standard, Day One, Digital Deluxe, and Collector’s editions and specifies which editions include the season pass. Those package definitions apply to that game; they are not a rule for other publishers.

Does the season pass include this character or add-on?
Expand the pass label into its contents list and look for the specific item. A pass name alone does not establish that it includes a particular fighter or that the content is available now. Check whether the listing describes released content, planned content, or items sold separately.

The US Xbox listing for TEKKEN 7 Definitive Edition provides an example of an itemized offer: it names the full game, Eliza bonus DLC, and Season Passes 1–4, then lists pass content. The useful evidence is that breakdown, not “Definitive Edition” in the title.
The Guilty Gear -Strive- product page also notes that some Season Pass 5 items can be purchased separately. That is why it is worth checking the wanted item and its purchase status rather than assuming every pass-related item has the same entitlement.

Is the offer for the right platform and edition?
Check the platform shown on the exact sale page before comparing contents. A listing for Xbox does not establish what a Steam or PlayStation edition includes or whether its add-ons are compatible. Confirm the game, platform, edition, and region on the offer you intend to buy.
For example, the TEKKEN 7 Steam listing describes an edition that includes the full game, Originals Edition, Season Passes 1–4, and DLC1–19; it also notes that items are sold separately. A separate store listing for content does not by itself mean that the content is missing from a bundle. Compare the inclusion list for the specific offer with your account’s ownership.

How to compare the bundle with another edition or separate DLC
- Write down the exact add-on. Note whether you want a fighter, stage, costume, or other item.
- Open the live offer for your platform and region. Find its included-content breakdown or the publisher’s matching edition page.
- Check every pass named in the offer. Match the add-on to the pass’s item list, and note whether the listing says it is released, planned, or sold separately.
- Check your account’s ownership. Use Steam’s DLC view or the current library/add-ons view for your console.
- Compare the alternatives. Check whether the base game is included or required, whether the desired content is included, whether the platform and edition match, whether you already own any components, and whether the pass covers released or future items.
- Re-read the exact listing before checkout. Sale availability and package contents can change; rely on the current offer, not an old description or a similarly named edition.
