For sensitivity, keep the game’s default as your baseline and make one small change at a time. No manufacturer-published ATOM+-specific number has been established as universally best, so the right setting depends on the game, camera speed, dead zone, and your thumb movement.
There is an important distinction between the original ATOM documentation and ATOM+ instructions. The original manual documents an XInput face-button swap and several five-second shortcuts, while recent ATOM+ guidance warns against assuming those combinations still apply. Use the current ATOM+ guide or CRKD support material for any shortcut before pressing a button combination.

The short answer: use the host’s protocol, not the symbols on the shell
Mobile operating systems and cloud services identify a controller through a protocol. When a service offers an Xbox or XInput option, that is normally the least troublesome choice because most console-oriented games are designed around that order. The letters printed on the ATOM+ are not, by themselves, proof that the connected device is using that order.
| Use case | Recommended mapping approach | Sensitivity starting point | First verification |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloud gaming on a phone or tablet | Select the Xbox/XInput profile if the client provides one; confirm prompts in the game | Game or cloud client’s default look setting | Check A/B, X/Y, Menu, View/Minus and both shoulder buttons |
| Native Android game | Use the mode named by the ATOM+ guide; remap in the game or CRKD app only if the detected layout is wrong | Native game’s default, then adjust in small steps | Confirm that the game recognizes every face button and stick |
| Native iPhone or iPad game | Use the platform mode supported by the game; do not assume an older ATOM shortcut works on ATOM+ | Game default, with a separate profile for fast camera games if needed | Check the game’s button labels before starting a level |
| Game that needs a second analog input | Consider the original ATOM D-pad-to-stick reassignment only as a task-specific workaround, after checking ATOM+ documentation | Leave camera sensitivity unchanged until the alternate input is confirmed | Test movement and camera control independently |
This approach avoids treating an unverified sensitivity number or an old button shortcut as a universal answer.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
Why A/B and X/Y can look backwards
The original CRKD ATOM manual explicitly describes a protocol conversion: “When connecting ATOM as an Xinput Device, the button mappings for X/Y and A/B will be switched. Specifically, Y will function as X, and B will function as A, and vice versa.” In practical terms, a game may display an Xbox-style prompt while the physical labels appear to indicate the opposite action.
That statement belongs to the original ATOM manual, not automatically to every ATOM+ firmware version. If an ATOM+ connection produces reversed prompts, first establish which mode the controller and host are actually using. Then use the current ATOM+ guide or the CRKD app’s detected-device controls. Do not apply a three-second or five-second original-ATOM combination simply because it worked on an earlier model.
Set up ATOM+ for cloud gaming on a phone or tablet
1. Pair in the operating system first
Open the phone or tablet’s Bluetooth settings and pair the ATOM+ there before launching a cloud-gaming client. This gives the operating system a chance to expose the controller to the client as a normal input device. If the controller is already paired to another device, disconnect it there before troubleshooting the cloud app.

For supported CRKD controllers, the CRKD app listing describes tools for remapping, vibration, trigger sensitivity, button layouts, and firmware functions. Use the app for maintenance or remapping after the operating system reports a connection. The presence of a menu item does not guarantee that every ATOM+ firmware revision exposes every control, so work only with options the app shows for the connected device.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
3. Select Xbox/XInput when the cloud client offers profiles
Choose the client profile labeled Xbox, Xbox-style, or XInput when that option is available. This generally reduces conflicts with games that expect Xbox ordering. It does not override the game’s own prompts: the labels shown on the game screen remain the authority for that session.
4. Resolve a face-button mismatch deliberately
- Start a game or the cloud service’s controller test and note which physical button activates the displayed A, B, X, and Y actions.
- Confirm that the controller is in the XInput mode you intended to use.
- Only then apply an ATOM+ mapping control documented in the current ATOM+ guide or CRKD support material. If the guide does not document a shortcut, use the in-game or app remap instead.
- Repeat the test after remapping. A change is successful only when both the displayed prompt and the resulting action agree.
5. Test the non-face controls before a session
Cloud clients can translate Menu, View/Minus, shoulder buttons, and stick clicks differently from native mobile games. Open a menu, return to the previous screen, move through a list, and check both triggers before beginning a long stream. A controller can pass a face-button test while still leaving a shoulder or system button unavailable.
6. Record the working mode
Write down the profile name and any app remap that worked. Cloud clients may remember a controller differently after an operating-system update or a new pairing. Recording the working combination is faster than rediscovering it during the next session.

Use ATOM+ with native Android and iOS games
Let the game decide whether a remap is necessary
A recent ATOM+ guide reports support for iPhone, Android, Switch, and PC. That broad compatibility does not mean every mobile game uses the same protocol. If a native game detects the controller and its prompts match the actions, leave the layout alone. Every extra translation layer is another place for a button to become reversed.

When the game sees the controller but labels it incorrectly
Check the game’s controller settings first. If it provides a button-layout selector, choose the layout that matches the prompts you see, not the letters printed on the controller. If the game has no such option, use a CRKD app remap that is visibly available for the connected ATOM+ firmware. Reconnect and test again rather than assuming the remap persisted.
iPhone-specific symptom: the buttons are “backwards”
On iPhone, the symptom is often a mismatch between Nintendo-style labels and an Xbox-oriented game interface. The fix is procedural: identify the host mode, check the game’s prompt-to-action mapping, and then choose the platform or XInput layout that the game supports. The original ATOM XInput swap explains why the symptom can occur, but it is not evidence that the original shortcut should be used on ATOM+.
Using the D-pad as an alternate stick input
The original ATOM documentation describes reassignment of the D-pad to the left stick, right stick, or its default function. It describes holding the relevant D-pad direction together with Minus for five seconds, and it states that special-function settings return to default after a power cycle.

This can help a game that needs a second analog-style input, but it is not a universal best mapping. Digital D-pad directions do not provide the same continuous range as an analog stick, so the result is most useful for menus, discrete movement, or a game whose control scheme specifically benefits from a second directional source. Use the ATOM+ guide before attempting the original combination; recent ATOM+ guidance warns that older ATOM three-second combinations are not ATOM+ documentation.

A sensitivity method that works across mobile and cloud games
Start from the game’s own default
There is no cited, manufacturer-published ATOM+-specific sensitivity value that can honestly be called best. The controller sends input; the game or cloud client normally determines look speed, acceleration, dead zone, and inversion. Starting at the default gives you a known reference and prevents a remap problem from being mistaken for a sensitivity problem.
Change one control at a time
- Choose one repeatable action, such as turning toward a fixed landmark, centering a reticle on a stationary object, or rotating the camera through a doorway.
- Change only the look or camera slider, using the smallest available increment.
- Repeat the same action from the same position.
- Keep the change if it reduces overshoot or thumb lifting; revert it if the movement becomes difficult to stop.
- Only after the look setting feels stable should you test dead-zone, acceleration, or inversion.
This is a tuning process rather than a controlled performance claim. Different games can interpret the same physical thumb movement in entirely different ways.
Precision aiming profile
For games that reward small corrections, lower the look sensitivity until a short thumb movement stops overshooting the target. Keep enough speed for a normal turn, and test both horizontal and vertical movement if the game exposes separate axes. Do not lower sensitivity to compensate for a button-order problem; solve the mapping first.
Fast camera profile
For camera-heavy action games, increase sensitivity until a comfortable thumb sweep can turn the character without repeatedly lifting the thumb. If a cloud stream adds latency, test the setting under the same network conditions you normally play with. A setting that feels controlled in a local menu can feel too fast or too slow once streamed input and video delay are present.

Keep separate values for different genres
A slower precision game and a fast shooter ask for different camera behavior. Maintain separate in-game profiles when the title supports them, or record the values before switching games. There is no evidence that one ATOM+ sensitivity value transfers optimally between genres, platforms, or cloud clients.
Leave advanced controls in the host unless the app exposes them
Keep dead-zone, acceleration, and inversion settings in the game or cloud client unless CRKD CTRL visibly exposes those controls for the connected ATOM+ firmware. The app listing confirms that supported CRKD controllers can expose several adjustment categories, but it does not publish a validated ATOM+ sensitivity table or guarantee identical controls across firmware versions.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What the CRKD app can and cannot establish
The app listing identifies support for remapping, vibration, trigger sensitivity, button layouts, and firmware functions on supported CRKD controllers. That makes it useful for checking which controls your particular ATOM+ exposes and for storing a layout when the app provides that function.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteUser reports in the listing include both successful tuning and occasional connection problems. Those reports are experience evidence, not a controlled test and not a guarantee for every firmware version. If a setting is absent, greyed out, or lost after reconnecting, treat that as a device-support or persistence issue rather than proof that a particular sensitivity value is wrong.
Persistence, power cycles, and disappearing remaps
The original ATOM manual says: “NOTE: Any special function settings will reset back to default after any power-cycle.” That warning is relevant when diagnosing a remap that disappears after the controller is turned off, but it should not be presented as a confirmed rule for every ATOM+ firmware revision.
When a layout vanishes, use this order:
- Reconnect the ATOM+ and verify that the phone or tablet identifies the same controller mode as before.
- Open the CRKD app and check whether the remap is still shown for the detected device.
- Test the game without changing sensitivity, so you can separate a mapping reset from a camera-setting reset.
- Reapply the layout through a documented ATOM+ app control or current guide instruction.
- If the behavior repeats after every power cycle, consult current CRKD support material for the firmware’s persistence rules instead of relying on an original-ATOM shortcut.
Troubleshooting common ATOM+ mobile problems
| Symptom | Likely explanation | Action |
|---|---|---|
| A and B, or X and Y, perform each other’s actions | The host is using an XInput conversion or the game expects another face-button order | Confirm the active protocol, compare prompts with actions, then use a documented ATOM+ remap or the game’s layout selector |
| The cloud client detects the controller but a game ignores it | The client and game are translating input differently | Test Menu, View/Minus, shoulders, triggers, and both sticks in the client; then check the game’s controller-support settings |
| The CRKD app offers fewer controls than expected | Controls vary by supported device and firmware | Use only options shown for the connected ATOM+ and check current support guidance |
| A remap works until the controller is turned off | Special functions may not persist through a power cycle | Reapply through the documented ATOM+ method and verify the firmware’s persistence behavior |
| The D-pad-as-stick experiment causes unwanted movement | The alternate assignment is still active or is unsuitable for the game | Restore the default assignment using the current ATOM+ instructions, then retest the game’s normal controls |
| A camera setting feels different after switching games | Sensitivity is controlled by the title or cloud client, not universally by the controller | Return to that game’s default and tune it with a repeatable landmark test |
| Input drops after reconnecting | The operating system, app, or controller may have selected a different connection state | Forget the old Bluetooth pairing, pair again in system settings, and reopen the client before changing mappings |
| Button prompts are correct but the camera is too fast | Mapping is working; look sensitivity or acceleration is unsuitable | Adjust one camera control by the smallest available step and retest the same movement |
A practical decision framework
Choose a layout by answering these questions in order:
- Which protocol does the host expect? Prefer Xbox/XInput when the cloud client explicitly offers it; otherwise follow the ATOM+ guide and the platform’s supported mode.
- Do the game’s prompts match the resulting actions? If not, correct the layout before touching sensitivity.
- Does the game require one or two analog inputs? If it needs a second source, evaluate the D-pad reassignment as a limited workaround, not as a replacement for a true analog stick.
- Will the layout survive a power cycle? Test this before relying on it for travel or a long cloud session.
- Where are the available adjustments? Use the game or cloud client for camera behavior, and use the CRKD app only for controls it actually exposes for your firmware.
Recommended pre-session check
- Pair the controller in the phone or tablet’s Bluetooth settings.
- Confirm the active profile in the cloud client or game.
- Press each face button while watching the on-screen prompt.
- Check Menu, View/Minus, shoulders, triggers, and both sticks.
- Run one repeatable camera movement at the saved sensitivity.
- After any firmware update or power cycle, repeat the short input test before starting a streamed session.
The dependable ATOM+ setup is therefore a verified mapping plus a personal sensitivity profile, not a magic button combination or a single published number. Use the host’s expected protocol, treat the game’s prompts as definitive, make controlled sensitivity changes, and verify persistence whenever the controller reconnects.
