Cheap right-backs: budget estimates from a 2024 guide
Dot Esports’ 29 September 2024 guide gives the following estimated fees. Treat these as that guide’s estimates, not current market prices or guaranteed transfer fees in your save.
Rank #2
| Player | Club listed by guide | OVR | Potential | Estimated fee | Guide’s suggested use |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mattia Zanotti | Lugano | 73 | 83 | $7 million | Nearer-term starter |
| Juanlu Sánchez | Sevilla | 72 | 83 | $5.5 million | Nearer-term starter |
| Martim Fernandes | Porto | 69 | 84 | $3.3 million | Development option |
| Pedro Lima | Wolverhampton Wanderers | 68 | 83 | $2.9 million | Development option |
| Héctor Fort | Barcelona | 65 | 82 | $1.8 million | Ultra-budget prospect |
These figures and descriptions are from Dot Esports’ 29 September 2024 guide to cheap FC 25 right-backs. In that snapshot, Fernandes, Lima and Fort are listed below $4 million; whether a club accepts an offer in a particular save is not established by the estimate.
How to choose the right-back for your squad
If you need a starter now
Start with the established group and compare the player’s role fit as well as OVR. SCOUTED’s descriptions point to Walker for pace and physicality, Trent for passing and crossing, Carvajal for tackling and defensive strength, and Kimmich for technical possession in an inverted role. These are descriptive recommendations from the guide, not a controlled comparison of in-game performance.
Rank #3
- Standard Edition for PlayStation 5 (disc) includes the full EA SPORTS College Football 27 game.
- DYNASTY BLUEPRINT – Control your program’s future with recruiting, NIL, staff, facilities, and Athletic Director Expectations..

If you want development without starting from the bottom
Lewis, Bradley and Cambiaso begin at 75–77 OVR in SCOUTED’s snapshot and have potential values of 84 or 85. Fernandes, Sabbe and Lima start at 68–70 OVR with cited potential of 83 or 84, making them lower-rated projects in that list.
If transfer budget is the main constraint
Use Dot Esports’ estimated fees as a shortlist, not a bid calculator. Its estimates place Fernandes, Lima and Fort below $4 million, while Zanotti and Juanlu are listed at higher estimates alongside descriptions of nearer-term starter potential.

Why FC 25 right-back lists can disagree
Ratings depend on the source and snapshot. SCOUTED’s 31 December 2024 guide lists Hakimi at 84 OVR and Carvajal at 82. FIFA Index’s FC 25 fullback ranking displays both at 86 OVR, but that ranking covers LB, RB, LWB and RWB, and includes women’s players. It is not an RB-only leaderboard, and the difference is a reason to check the source and game update rather than treat any one list as universal.
