Heaven’s Pier has 22 Experiences, not five. To verify completion, open Menu > Journal > Sentient Beings > Heaven’s Pier > Experience; the correct target is 22/22. The five Heaven’s Pier Encounters are tracked separately.
This checklist covers all 22 Experience entries, their NPCs, locations, time windows, quest-state requirements, and the fixes for entries that commonly fail to appear.

Before you start
- Use the journal path Menu > Journal > Sentient Beings > Heaven’s Pier > Experience to track the actual counter.
- Many entries require exhausting every available dialogue option rather than speaking to an NPC once.
- When an NPC is missing, change the in-game time, fast-travel away, return, and check again.
- Several entries change after the Blissful Retreat burning in Chapter 1. They are not automatically lost afterward; use the post-burning routes below.
The game’s August 7, 2026 Version 2.0 patch notes do not list a change to the Heaven’s Pier Experience counter or journal path.

1. Business is Tough
Speak with Zhao Weiye, the shop owner near the central bounty board. If he is absent, rotate the time through Wu or You hours, then return. Finish his dialogue to register the Experience.
#1 Best Overall
2. Local Lore
Talk to the Wayfarer who offers Annals of Geography – Heaven’s Pier. Receive the book and read the local-history text; reading it completes the entry.
3. The First Blossom
Approach the large, dense tree on elevated ground beside Heaven’s Pier and use its interaction prompt. This tree does not produce a Wind Sense highlight or a gold glint, so search manually rather than relying on detection.
4. Southern Tongue
Set the time to Chen hour, approximately 07:00–09:00, then speak with Song Wu near the two women selling food. Exhaust his dialogue.
5. Parting Beneath the Pear Tree
Go to the Brewery Backyard and find Gu San’ge. Select the conversation topic about Madam Han. If he is missing, check again during Shen hour.
6. A Shadow in the Dark
Before the village burns: go behind the brewery at night, near the large sakura tree, and steal the mysterious map from the outsider using Celestial Seize or ordinary theft.
After the burning: speak through Uncle Mi’s newly available dialogue instead. This entry remains obtainable after the story transition.

7. The Disappeared
After the burning, repeatedly speak with Uncle Mi at different hours until he discusses the missing people and the aftermath. He may be non-interactive while sitting; change the time until he is standing, then try again.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems8. Drifting to the Shelter
Talk to Auntie Tian near the docks or shipyard. If she only offers general dialogue, progress Chapter 1—especially the villager-escort section of the burning sequence—then return during daytime.
9. Secret Letter on the Strange Pigeon
Use the workstations behind the brewery and begin the pigeon-related sequence. Follow the associated interaction with Liniang. This is easy to miss because the pigeon and shooting step is behind the brewery rather than at a prominent map marker.
10. Envoy of the Southern Tang Dynasty
Before the burning: speak with the foreign merchant Cui Daniu at the tavern and exhaust the dialogue about the Southern Tang court.
After the burning: check the same general area for a shopkeeper who carries the replacement dialogue.
11. Drunken Raging Tides
Speak with Shi Yibei, who sits on stacked boxes near the restaurant in the central plaza. If he is absent, revisit during daytime and after advancing further through Chapter 1.

12. Snooping for Intel
This can trigger through Song Wu later in the day or through Uncle Zhang Jiu in the same market area. Exhaust the dialogue about suspicious activity.
If neither NPC appears, set the time to Mao or Wu hour, fast-travel away, return to the central waypoint, and check the food-stall row again.
13. Fragrant Agarwood Dust
In the brewery machine area near Zhang Dazhuang, interact with the large wooden barrel. The Experience should register immediately; no special time window is listed.
14. Flying Petals Onto the Rooftop
Find the house where a woman works with petals near the entrance. Use your lightness skills to climb onto the roof and interact with the drying pile of petals.
15. Prayer for My Benefactor
Talk to Chu Wuming inside a riverside house. Checking during Wei hour, approximately 13:00–15:00, improves the chance that he is inside. Exhaust his dialogue until he recounts his benefactor and prays.
16. Pear Blossoms of Hometown
Normally, speak with the seated woman labeled Mysterious Patron on high ground near the First Blossom tree. If she is absent, talk to Xia Aze, seated on a rock on the slope below the large tree, and exhaust his dialogue about pear blossoms and his hometown.

- 🌀 Officially Licensed Where Winds Meet Collectible – the Teleporter, in Miniature This isn't fan art on a keycap. It's an official Where Winds Meet keycap — an authorized 3D replica of the game's iconic teleporter, cast in metal with every magical rune and architectural detail intact. For collectors who care about authenticity. For fans who know the difference between licensed and knockoff. The box says it. The keycap proves it. Your keyboard just got a piece of the mystical world itself.
- ⚙️ Premium Metal Construction – 3D Sculpted, Not Flat Printed Cast from high-quality metal with a sculpted 3D profile that rises above the keycap surface — not a flat decal, not a printed image, not a thin layer of epoxy over a sticker. Each teleporter detail is rendered in raised relief you can feel under your fingertip. The weight is real. The cold-metal touch is real. This artisan keycap brings a tactile, architectural presence to your keystrokes that no printed cap can match.
- ⌨️ Cherry MX Compatible – Drops Right into Your Setup Standard Cherry MX stem design fits the vast majority of mechanical keyboards — Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, and most MX-style clones. Ideal for the Escape key, function row, or any 1u slot that needs a personality upgrade. This mechanical keyboard keycap installs in seconds. No adapters. No wobble. No "it almost fits." Just a precision stem that seats securely the first time.
- 🎁 Themed Collector Box – a Where Winds Meet Gift That Lands Before They Even Open It Presented in officially licensed collector packaging featuring game art and branding — the unboxing experience starts the moment they see the box. Birthday for the open-world RPG fan. Holiday for the keyboard builder who already has every switch tester. Surprise for the Where Winds Meet enthusiast who thought they owned every piece of official merch. This collector keycap proves them wrong in the best way.
- 🛠️ Keycap Puller Included – Full Install Kit, No Separate Purchase Every order includes one teleporter-themed metal artisan keycap and a free keycap puller in the box. No hunting for tools. No scratched keycaps from makeshift removal. No waiting for a separate accessory order to arrive. This keycap set arrives complete — pull the old cap, seat the teleporter, and let the mystical world glow from your ESC key. Installation takes 30 seconds. The conversation it starts lasts way longer.
If Butter is missing or appears dead, return after more real or in-game time; the dog may respawn.
21. Cat Lord
With Animal Whisperer active, interact with the twin-tufts cat near general-goods merchant Xiong Da. If you receive only ordinary petting dialogue, reload the area or log out to the menu and back in, then try again.
22. Theft at Heaven’s Pier
Before the burning: speak with Zhang Dazhuang near the brewery machine or docks about stolen items.
Recommended Free Tools
After the burning: go to the West Heaven’s Pier waypoint and search the riverside cabins for drunk Zhang Jiushu. Check around Chen hour, 07:00–09:00, or Wei hour, 13:00–15:00. Speak with him repeatedly and choose the friendly, “make a friend” style options until he discusses the theft.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Experiences and Encounters are separate
Do not use the Encounter list as a substitute for the Experience journal. The five Heaven’s Pier Encounters are:
- A Toast to Destiny: Part I
- Tales That Soar
- Her Legacy
- A Drastic Cure
- Little Shadow of Moonveil
These five do not make up the 22-entry Experience total. In particular, A Toast to Destiny: Part II is not required for the Heaven’s Pier Encounter counter.
Encounter-specific notes
- Her Legacy: after completing Chapter 1: Heaven Has No Pier, enter and explore the Brewery area on foot. Fast-traveling nearby alone may not trigger it.
- Little Shadow of Moonveil: it is not activated by just any theft. The prerequisite is a successful Celestial Seize theft of the specific vendor items elsewhere; then return to Heaven’s Pier and approach Tong Xiaoyun across from Yuan Tiantian’s stall.
What to do when an Experience will not register
- Check the journal and confirm that you are looking under Experience, not Encounters or the regional percentage.
- Exhaust every dialogue option, including newly unlocked follow-up lines.
- Rotate to the time window listed for that entry.
- Leave the area or fast-travel away, then return.
- Reload the area or log out to the menu and back in, especially for animals and NPCs that remain stuck on ordinary dialogue.
- Check whether the story has moved past the Blissful Retreat burning and use the post-burning route for that entry.
Do not use the overall Heaven’s Pier or regional completion percentage as the Experience checklist. Regional completion combines multiple categories, including Sentient Beings, Experiences, Wandering Tales, Encounters, antiques, collectibles, and hidden flags. The journal’s 22/22 value is the definitive check for these Experiences. For the distinction between the regional percentage and individual completion categories, see this completion breakdown.
