The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 LS57CG952NNXZA is currently listed at $1,449.99, making this one of the most compelling premium-display deals for a GTA 6-style gaming setup. The discount depends on which reference price a retailer uses: Best Buy and Abt compare it with $2,099.99 (about 31% off), while PC Gamer reports Amazon comparing the same sale price with $2,299.99 (about 37% off). Either way, you are looking at a 57-inch, 7680 × 2160 dual-UHD monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate, Mini-LED backlighting and a 32:9 curved format.
It is best suited to PC players with a powerful graphics system and a reinforced desk. GTA 6 has no published official requirement for 7680 × 2160 or 240Hz in the available sources, so the Neo G9 should be viewed as an exceptionally immersive display rather than a guarantee of native GTA 6 performance.

What makes the Samsung Neo G9 deal notable?
The Neo G9 combines two 4K-class images into one extremely wide desktop. PC Gamer describes it as “basically two 4K screens stuck together, and Mini-LED ones at that.” Its 57-inch diagonal, 1000R curve and 32:9 aspect ratio wrap the game around your field of view more dramatically than a standard 16:9 screen.
The sale price is unusually low for this class of display, but the percentage is not universal because retailers show different comparison values.

What are the Neo G9’s gaming specifications?
| Specification | Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 LS57CG952NNXZA |
|---|---|
| Screen size | 57 inches |
| Resolution | 7680 × 2160 dual-UHD |
| Aspect ratio | 32:9 |
| Curve | 1000R |
| Maximum refresh rate | 240Hz |
| Response time | 1ms |
| Backlight and HDR | Quantum Matrix Mini-LED; VESA DisplayHDR 1000 |
| Variable refresh | AMD FreeSync Premium Pro |
| Video inputs | DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 |
The Mini-LED system and HDR1000 rating are intended to provide stronger highlight brightness and more controlled contrast than a conventional edge-lit LCD. The 240Hz ceiling can make supported PC games feel smoother, but reaching it at 7680 × 2160 is substantially more demanding than driving a normal 4K monitor.

Can a PC run GTA 6 at 7680 × 2160 and 240Hz?
There is no official GTA 6 resolution or frame-rate requirement establishing that the game will run natively at 7680 × 2160 or 240Hz. Treat those figures as the monitor’s capabilities, not promised GTA 6 output.

Before buying, evaluate the graphics card, processor, power supply and connection standard in your system. DisplayPort 2.1 is the relevant high-bandwidth input for a compatible PC, while HDMI 2.1 is useful for systems that support the monitor’s required signal modes. In practice, you may need to reduce resolution, detail settings or refresh rate to match the performance your hardware can sustain.
What to check before ordering
- Confirm that your GPU has DisplayPort 2.1 or HDMI 2.1 outputs and supports the desired ultrawide mode.
- Check the cable specification; an older cable may prevent the resolution or refresh rate you expect.
- Measure desk width and depth, including space for the stand and viewing distance.
- Verify that the desk or monitor arm can safely support a 57-inch display.
- Leave room for ventilation and access to the rear ports.
Will PS5 or Xbox use the Neo G9’s full resolution?
Not necessarily. Console output limits and supported aspect ratios can differ from the monitor’s 7680 × 2160, 32:9 design. A console may display a centered or scaled image rather than filling the entire panel, and the available sources do not establish full-resolution, full-refresh support for either current console.
For a console-first GTA 6 setup, a conventional 4K 16:9 display is generally simpler to match to known console output modes. The Neo G9 makes more sense when a PC is the primary source and the extra horizontal space is a priority.

Is the Neo G9 worth $1,449.99?
It is compelling if you specifically want an enormous curved ultrawide, can accommodate its footprint and have hardware capable of feeding it. The combination of dual-UHD resolution, Mini-LED HDR and 240Hz is difficult to replicate with a smaller single monitor.
A standard 4K 16:9 OLED or smaller curved monitor can be easier to install, drive and use with consoles. Those alternatives may also offer a more predictable experience in games that do not support 32:9. The Neo G9’s value therefore depends less on the discount alone and more on whether you will use its defining strengths.
What should you verify before the sale ends?
- Open the retailer’s current product page and confirm the exact model number, LS57CG952NNXZA.
- Check the live price, comparison price, shipping charge, tax and return policy for your location.
- Confirm stock status and the estimated delivery or pickup date.
- Review the warranty terms and dead-pixel or panel-return conditions.
- Measure the installation area and confirm your stand or arm’s load rating.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Neo G9 include a DisplayPort 2.1 cable?
The available product information confirms a DisplayPort 2.1 input but does not establish which cable is included in the box. Check the retailer’s package contents and buy a properly rated cable if your existing one cannot carry the selected mode.

Can I use the Neo G9 as two separate monitors?
Its 32:9 canvas is designed to behave like two side-by-side 16:9-class areas, but the exact split-screen or picture-by-picture functions depend on the monitor’s on-screen settings and source connections. Verify the manual’s supported combinations before planning a multi-device setup.
Is 240Hz useful if GTA 6 runs below 240 frames per second?
A game does not need to reach 240 frames per second to benefit from a high-refresh panel, but the visible advantage decreases as frame rate falls. Variable-refresh support can help reduce tearing when performance fluctuates.
How much desk space does a 57-inch 1000R monitor need?
The available data does not provide the monitor’s exact stand dimensions or weight. Measure the retailer’s published dimensions, then add clearance for cables, ventilation and a comfortable viewing distance before ordering.
