For a flexible damage-focused Lune build, use Trebuchim, prioritize Vitality and Luck, then add Agility for more turns. Generate Stains with Free Aim, then spend them on Elemental Genesis for area damage or Mayhem for a single target and Break pressure. This is a practical current-patch baseline, not a universal best build for every act or player.

How to play the Trebuchim build
- Generate Stains with Free Aim. Use shots to build the colors needed for Lune’s skills. In its combat primer, Xbox Wire explains that in-battle Free Aim shots cost one AP and do not end the turn. Xbox Wire’s combat primer
- Use Elemental Genesis when the Stains are ready for it. The guide’s heavy area-damage setup calls for four different Stains, with Light Stains covering missing colors, and sufficient AP.
- Use Mayhem when the Stain pattern does not suit Genesis. It is the single-target option in this loop and can add Break pressure.
- Check Thermal Transfer’s conditions first. It depends on Burn and Stain requirements; treat it as conditional AP conversion, not a guaranteed extra turn.
- Fill remaining slots for the encounter. Select from the flexible skills based on enemies and whether Lune needs to help with recovery.
Why weapon choice changes Lune’s attributes
Do not carry over a fixed attribute allocation when changing weapons. The current baseline pairs Trebuchim with Vitality and Luck, then Agility for tempo, but the governing rule is to match attributes to the equipped weapon’s scaling. When to switch to a healer-oriented Lune
If failed defensive reactions or long boss phases are ending attempts before Lune’s damage cycle can settle in, use her for recovery instead. The current guide’s healer alternative uses Snowim with Rebirth and Revitalization, supported by Vitality, Agility, and recovery options. This trades emphasis on the damage loop for a role that can help the party stay in the fight. Gamer Headlines
How other Lune builds fit
Build guides do not agree on one strongest setup for every stage. Playnews presents an early Burn build and a later Elemental Genesis build; PLITCH gives act-specific weapon, attribute, skill, Picto, and Lumina suggestions. Patch Crazy describes Colim as a mid-game Vitality-scaling option whose upgrade effects can return Stains and AP, and recommends adapting elements to enemy weaknesses and mixing skill costs. A worn Picto occupies one of three slots and provides both its stats and passive effect. After mastering it, you can equip that passive as a Lumina instead: it no longer supplies the Picto’s stats and uses Lumina Point capacity. Xbox Wire says mastery takes four victories with the Picto equipped and recommends cycling new Pictos through characters. That distinction matters when copying an endgame list: a newly progressing Lune may not have the late weapon, mastered passives, or Lumina budget assumed by a finished loadout. Equip what is actually available and prioritize the part of the loop you can support.
