If you want a Mass Effect character collectible for display, start with the official BioWare Gear Store’s PVC figures and statues; for a group of squadmates in a smaller format, consider Asmodee’s resin miniature set. One important distinction: current product listings use terms such as “figure,” “statue” and “miniature,” and do not establish that these are articulated action figures.
What to know before choosing
Mass Effect collectibles cover different formats, not one interchangeable line of action figures. PVC figures and statues are intended for character display; resin miniatures are smaller collectibles associated with tabletop play. The available product information does not confirm articulation for the figures and statues below, so check the individual listing rather than assuming limbs or accessories move.

The official BioWare Gear Store catalog lists 11 Mass Effect collectibles, including Commander Jane Shepard and Commander John Shepard PVC figures, a Garrus PVC Statue, a Liara Companion Bundle, figures of Miranda Lawson, EDI and Mordin Solus, and a Thane Statue. The same catalog includes non-character collectibles such as a Normandy replica. Its product mix gives collectors options beyond Shepard, but catalog presence alone does not confirm current stock. | Commander Jane Shepard | PVC figure | 9.25 inches (23.5 cm) tall including base; two swappable heads, one helmeted and one without. Listed at $69.99 USD on the product page when accessed via the search result; price may change. | A larger Shepard display piece with a documented head option. |
| EDI or Thane Krios | Figures in Dark Horse’s character line | Dark Horse Direct’s June 30, 2026 announcement gives each an approximate height of 8.5 inches, a base, and a retail price of $59.99. It estimated arrival in January–February 2027; that window is not a guarantee. | Collectors expanding a character display beyond Shepard and the established squadmates. |

Best individual display figure: Commander Jane Shepard
The Jane Shepard PVC Figure is the clearest choice if Shepard is the centerpiece of your collection. The official product listing specifies a total height of 9.25 inches (23.5 cm), including the base, and two swappable heads: one wearing the N7 helmet and one without it. Substance Model Works is credited as sculptor and painter. The store’s product page pitches it this way: “Every squad needs a leader! Is she yours?” See the official Jane Shepard figure listing.
#1 Best Overall
- From the popular video game series
- Measures approximately 9.75 inches tall
- Captures the unique geth's likeness
- Base included
The stated $69.99 USD price was the listing price when accessed via the search result; it is not a guaranteed current price. The store’s May 28, 2025 announcement also identifies this as a PVC figure, rather than documenting articulation. Read the BioWare Gear Store announcement.
Best for adding more squadmates: EDI and Thane
Dark Horse Direct’s June 30, 2026 announcement introduces EDI and Thane Krios as additions to its character figure line, alongside earlier figures including Tali’Zorah, Liara, Garrus and John Shepard. Each new release is described as around 8.5 inches tall and supplied with a base. Dark Horse listed a $59.99 retail price per figure and estimated arrival during January–February 2027. That is an announced estimate, not confirmation of shipment or present availability. Check Dark Horse Direct’s announcement.
Rank #2
- From the beloved video game series Mass Effect
- Highly detailed figure
- Measures about 8.5” tall
- Base included
These are a natural option if you are building a character-by-character display and want EDI or Thane in particular. The announcement does not establish articulation, so treat them as display figures unless a product listing specifies otherwise. BioWare previously announced a battle-worn female Commander Shepard statue, plus Wrex and Tali statues, for the wider collectible line; that 2023 announcement is historical context, not proof those pieces are currently for sale. See BioWare’s N7 Day 2023 announcement.

Asmodee USA’s Heroes of the Normandy Alpha is a different proposition from a shelf-scale PVC figure: it is a resin collectors set of six characters and companions. The listing names Shepard, Garrus, Wrex, Liara, Tali and Chatika vas Paus, with an optional helmeted head for Shepard. That makes it a compact way to represent a recognizable squad rather than choosing one large display character. View Asmodee USA’s product listing.

Do not confuse this set with a conventional articulated toy or assume it matches the height of the individual figures: the cited listing identifies it as a resin miniature set, and does not provide a comparable height or price here. Modiphius also announced Mass Effect tabletop miniatures, including resin collector miniatures at 32 mm scale, as part of a board-game release targeted for November 7, 2024. That announcement establishes another miniature format, not current stock. Read Modiphius’ board-game and miniatures announcement.

How to choose and check availability
- Choose by character first: the Gear Store catalog spans Shepard, Garrus, Liara, Miranda, EDI, Mordin and Thane, among other collectibles. Specific products may be unavailable even while the catalog page remains online.
- Match the format to your display: a roughly 8.5- or 9.25-inch figure occupies a different kind of space from a tabletop-scale resin miniature. Only Jane Shepard’s listing here provides an exact overall height; Dark Horse gives approximate heights for EDI and Thane.
- Check what comes in the box: Jane’s listing specifies two head options, and Dark Horse says EDI and Thane each include a base. Asmodee specifies an optional helmeted Shepard head and the six figures in the set.
- Verify stock, preorder status and price at purchase: the BioWare catalog marked Miranda, EDI, Mordin and Thane as preorder products when crawled, while Dark Horse’s EDI and Thane arrival window was an estimate for January–February 2027. These statuses can change.
- Search carefully if shopping elsewhere: “Mass Effect action figures” is a useful search phrase, but marketplace listings, sellers, prices and inventory were not verified here. Confirm the named product’s format and included parts before buying.
