There is no independently verified single “best” Minecraft Bedrock host in Australia. The most defensible shortlist is narrower: GTX Gaming explicitly advertises both Java and Bedrock support on a Sydney-focused page, while Aussie Server Hosts has a dedicated Bedrock offering. Space-Node, Sparked Host, Shockbyte, Apex Hosting, BisectHosting, GGServers and STIPE are also listed as having Sydney or Australian locations, but the available evidence does not verify Bedrock support, current node availability, renewal pricing or real-world latency for every one.
Use the comparison below as a due-diligence guide rather than a fixed ranking. Confirm the exact Australian node, Bedrock compatibility and renewal price in the checkout panel before paying; the published figures use mixed currencies and several are provider claims rather than independent tests.

As of October 14, 2026, available listings do not establish a universal winner for Australian Bedrock hosting. Two facts matter most for a Bedrock player who wants an Australian server:
- Bedrock support must be explicit. A host can advertise Minecraft hosting while supporting only Java on a particular plan.
- The machine must actually be in Australia. A company serving Australian customers is not the same as a server node in Sydney or another Australian city.
GTX Gaming is the clearest match on the published information: its Sydney-oriented page states that it supports Java and Bedrock, advertises instant setup and 24/7 support, and lists plans from A$3.72 per month. Aussie Server Hosts publishes a dedicated Minecraft Bedrock page with a listed price of $7.50 per month, although the currency is not identified in the available listing. Those details make both worth checking first, not declaring either the winner.

Space-Node’s 2026 guide lists a dedicated Sydney node and Bedrock-capable-looking Minecraft options from several providers, but the guide is not an independent latency test and the provider pages were not opened for verification. Apex Hosting’s Australian page uses “best” and “lag-free” marketing language, while STIPE makes a Sydney data-centre claim; neither claim is independently measured in the available material.
Australian Bedrock hosting shortlist
| Provider | Australian location claim | Bedrock evidence in the available listing | Advertised starting price | What is and is not established |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GTX Gaming | Sydney-focused page | Explicitly says Java and Bedrock are supported | A$3.72/month | Instant setup and 24/7 support are advertised. Actual latency, renewal rate and refund terms were not verified. |
| Aussie Server Hosts | Australian provider; exact node city not established in the listing | Dedicated Bedrock page | $7.50/month; currency not stated | Bedrock focus is clear, but node location, performance and renewal pricing still need confirmation. |
| Space-Node | Dedicated Sydney, Australia node claimed; hardware listed as AMD Ryzen 9 5950X with NVMe storage and DDoS protection | The guide includes it in a Minecraft hosting list, but the available entry does not explicitly verify Bedrock | €2.70/month | Location and hardware come from a 2026 guide; live availability and plan limits were not checked. |
| Sparked Host | Sydney, Australia listed on its Australia page | Not explicitly stated in the available entry | $1.00/month; currency not stated | Confirm that the selected plan runs Bedrock, not only Java, and check whether the price is introductory. |
| Shockbyte | Sydney location listed by Space-Node’s 2026 guide | Not explicitly stated in the available entry | $2.50/month; currency not stated | Node and price are guide listings, not independent measurements or a verified checkout quote. |
| Apex Hosting | Australia page describes Sydney hosting | Not explicitly stated in the available entry | $7.49/month; currency not stated | “Best” and “lag-free” are the provider’s own marketing claims on a page that appears older; current plan details need checking. |
| BisectHosting | Sydney location listed by Space-Node’s 2026 guide | Not explicitly stated in the available entry | $2.99/month; currency not stated | Verify Bedrock edition, included RAM and renewal price before ordering. |
| GGServers | Sydney location listed by Space-Node’s 2026 guide | Not explicitly stated in the available entry | $3.00/month; currency not stated | Guide-level location and price only; live stock and technical limits were not verified. |
| STIPE | Claims a Sydney data centre for Australia-New Zealand players | Not explicitly stated in the available entry | A$6.50/month | The Sydney claim and price are self-promotional listing information, not an independent test. |
How to interpret the shortlist
GTX Gaming: strongest explicit Bedrock match
GTX Gaming is the easiest starting point when you want a written statement that Bedrock is supported. Its Sydney-oriented listing combines Java and Bedrock support, instant setup and 24/7 support, with a starting price of A$3.72 per month. Before purchase, check whether Bedrock is enabled by default, whether the quoted amount is an introductory rate, how much RAM that tier includes and what renewal costs after the first billing period.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Aussie Server Hosts: Bedrock-first positioning
Aussie Server Hosts maintains a dedicated Minecraft Bedrock page and lists Bedrock from $7.50 every month. Because the currency is not identified in the available listing, do not compare “$7.50” directly with the Australian-dollar price from GTX Gaming. Ask support for the physical node city, the plan’s memory allocation, backup policy and the recurring amount charged in your region.
Space-Node: a Sydney hardware claim that needs verification
Space-Node’s 2026 guide describes a Sydney node using an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, NVMe storage and DDoS protection, with plans from €2.70 per month. Those are useful specifications if they still apply to the plan you select, but they are not a substitute for a live node check. The available listing does not explicitly confirm Bedrock support, so ask whether the image or software selector includes Bedrock Edition and whether the Sydney node is available for that product.

Sparked Host: very low listed entry price
Sparked Host’s Australia page lists Sydney and plans from $1.00 per month, with the currency unspecified. A low headline price can represent a small-memory plan, a promotion or a price that changes at renewal. Confirm all three points, plus Bedrock support, before treating it as a cheap Australian Bedrock option.
Shockbyte, BisectHosting and GGServers: guide-listed Sydney options
Space-Node’s 2026 guide lists Sydney locations for Shockbyte at $2.50 per month, BisectHosting at $2.99 and GGServers at $3.00; each figure is shown with an unlabelled dollar sign. The available entries do not explicitly establish Bedrock support. These providers belong on a verification list, not a guaranteed Bedrock ranking: select the exact Australian location in the order flow and obtain written confirmation that the plan is for Bedrock.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsApex Hosting: older, self-described Sydney positioning
Apex Hosting’s Australia page describes itself as the best Minecraft server host in Sydney and promotes lag-free hardware and 24/7 live chat. “Best” and “lag-free” are promotional wording, not measured results, and the page appears older. Treat it as a lead; verify the current Bedrock product, Sydney inventory, resource limits and renewal price.
STIPE: Sydney claim for the AUS-NZ region
STIPE advertises a Sydney data centre for Australia-New Zealand players and pricing from A$6.50. The available material does not explicitly state Bedrock support or provide independent latency figures. Confirm both before committing, especially if your players are outside Sydney.

Why Sydney location matters for Bedrock
Every player connects to the server’s physical machine, not to the host’s company headquarters. A Sydney node can reduce the distance for players in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and nearby regions, but the improvement varies by each player’s internet provider and route. Players in Western Australia, the Northern Territory or New Zealand may see a different result from the same node.
Do not accept “Australian hosting” as proof of a Sydney machine. In the checkout or control panel, look for a location selector that names Sydney or an Australian facility. If the label only says “AU,” ask support for the city and data-centre region. Request a test address or trial, if offered, and measure latency from the locations where your players actually live. No verified ping measurements were available for the providers in this comparison, so claims such as “lag-free” should not be treated as test results.
Bedrock-specific checks before you pay
- Confirm the edition. Ask whether the plan runs Minecraft Bedrock Dedicated Server or a supported Bedrock-compatible setup. Do not assume a Java plan can be switched without a new installation.
- Check the game version workflow. Find out how quickly the panel exposes new Bedrock releases and whether you can pin a version for a short period while add-ons are updated.
- Verify player-connection details. Bedrock players need the host’s address and the port shown by the panel. Ask whether a custom domain or fixed port is included.
- List add-ons and worlds you use. Confirm support for your intended behavior packs, resource packs, Marketplace exports and world uploads. Compatibility is more important than a large headline storage number.
- Ask about backups. Determine whether backups are manual, scheduled or both, how many copies are retained and whether you can download one before changing versions.
- Read the resource limits. Identify allocated RAM, storage type, CPU sharing, player-slot limits and any restrictions on render distance or simulation distance.
- Check support hours and escalation. “24/7 support” can mean a ticket queue rather than immediate engineering help. Ask which issues are covered outside business hours.
- Read refund terms first. Refund windows vary by provider and were not verified in the available material. Save a copy of the policy and confirm whether setup fees, renewals or used service time are excluded.
Making sense of the advertised prices
The figures in the table cannot be ranked by number alone. They mix euros, Australian dollars and unlabelled dollar signs. A price shown as “$” may not be Australian dollars, and the entry tier may include different memory, storage or player limits.
| Advertised figure | Currency status | Provider(s) | How to compare it responsibly |
|---|---|---|---|
| €2.70/month | Euro, explicitly identified | Space-Node | Convert to your billing currency, then check tax, renewal and included resources. |
| A$3.72/month | Australian dollars, explicitly identified | GTX Gaming | Confirm whether it is recurring and which Bedrock plan tier it represents. |
| A$6.50/month | Australian dollars, explicitly identified | STIPE | Verify Bedrock support and the exact Sydney product behind the starting price. |
| $1.00, $2.50, $2.99, $3.00, $7.49 and $7.50/month | Dollar sign shown but currency not identified in the available listings | Sparked Host; Shockbyte; BisectHosting; GGServers; Apex Hosting; Aussie Server Hosts | Ask for the currency, tax treatment and renewal amount. Do not convert or compare until those are known. |
Also compare billing frequency. “From” prices generally describe the smallest plan and may exclude higher memory, extra backups or a dedicated IP. A monthly recurring quote is more useful than a one-time promotional allowance, but the available listings do not establish renewal rates for any provider here.

Choosing resources for your world
There is no verified player-to-RAM benchmark in the available material, so avoid selecting a plan solely from a player-count slogan. Instead, describe your workload to sales or support:
- Expected simultaneous players, not just the number of people on your allow-list.
- Whether the world is a large survival map, a minigame hub or a small private realm.
- How many behavior packs and resource packs are installed.
- Whether you use frequent automated backups or upload large worlds.
- Whether simulation distance will be increased for farms and redstone machines.
Start with the smallest plan that meets the documented limits, but make sure the host allows an upgrade without moving to a different country or rebuilding the world. Ask what happens when memory is exhausted: a clean restart, a forced kill or a support ticket are very different failure modes.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Order and setup procedure
- Select the location first. In the host’s order form, choose Sydney or the named Australian region. Capture a screenshot of the selected location and plan name.
- Select Bedrock explicitly. Choose a Bedrock product or software option, not a generic Minecraft or Java template. If no Bedrock option appears, stop and ask support.
- Record the commercial terms. Save the currency, billing interval, introductory period, renewal amount, taxes and refund deadline before completing payment.
- Wait for the panel to provision. Confirm that the panel shows a Bedrock server type, the allocated resources and the selected Australian node.
- Set security and access. Change the panel password, enable two-factor authentication when available, use an allow-list and grant operator permissions only to trusted players.
- Upload or create the world. Keep an untouched local copy. Upload the Bedrock world in the format the panel documents, then verify that the world name, seed and packs appear correctly.
- Test a normal connection. Join from a Bedrock client, invite a player near the expected geographic centre and check loading, block interaction, mob behavior and saving.
- Test recovery. Create a backup, make a harmless change, restore the backup and confirm that the world returns to its earlier state.
Panel labels differ, so follow the provider’s current interface for the exact upload and restore buttons. The important evidence is that the server is Bedrock, the node is Australian and a backup can be restored before you invite a full group.
Common failure modes and fixes
The server appears online but Bedrock players cannot join
Check that the address and port are the Bedrock values displayed in the panel, not Java connection details. Confirm that the server process is Bedrock and that the selected version matches the clients. If the host supplied a temporary address, ask whether it changed after provisioning.

Players report high latency
First verify the physical node city. A host may have moved the instance to another region because Sydney stock was unavailable. Have players test at different times and from different Australian states; one player’s route can be poor while another’s is normal. If the provider cannot identify the node or provide a migration path, the advertised location is not useful evidence.
The world becomes slow after adding packs
Disable the newest behavior or resource pack on a copy of the world, then re-test. Check allocated memory and simulation distance. Keep a backup before every pack update and ask support whether the plan limits file size or add-on count.
A promised low price changes at checkout
Stop before paying and identify whether the difference is currency conversion, tax, a higher resource tier or the end of an introductory period. Save the final recurring amount; the unlabelled dollar figures in several listings cannot be interpreted safely without this information.
You need to move later
Export the world and download backups before cancelling. Ask the new host whether it accepts Bedrock world uploads and whether the address, port or add-on directory changes. Schedule a short maintenance window and test the imported copy before switching players.
A practical decision framework
- Choose GTX Gaming first if explicit Java-and-Bedrock wording, a Sydney-focused page and a clearly labelled A$ starting price are your priorities.
- Investigate Aussie Server Hosts first if you want a Bedrock-specific product page and are comfortable confirming the currency, node city and resource limits before purchase.
- Investigate Space-Node if the advertised Ryzen 9 5950X, NVMe storage and Sydney node are important, but obtain direct Bedrock confirmation because the available entry does not state it explicitly.
- Investigate Sparked Host, Shockbyte, BisectHosting or GGServers when their current checkout shows a verifiable Sydney Bedrock plan at a total cost you understand.
- Treat Apex Hosting and STIPE as claims to validate, not as independently proven low-latency choices.
This approach avoids a false precision ranking. It rewards explicit Bedrock documentation and a verifiable Australian node, then lets your group’s location, world size and recurring budget decide between the remaining candidates.

Current live prices, renewal rates, exact node inventory, refund policies, uptime guarantees, measured latency and support response times were not verified for this shortlist. Third-party Australian and Bedrock roundups also produce different lists, so a provider appearing in one roundup and not another is not evidence of quality or failure.
